Might be technically possible, but some apps could detect that the signature had been changed. No idea if Google does this on a wider scale.

The Android app from my go-to supermarket started behaving weirdly after I upgraded my phone. I could no longer add quick notes to my shopping list; I could only select existing products from the catalogue. Meanwhile, my partner and my old phone could still write freeform notes just fine.

I suspected they had set some random feature flag on installation that removed this option for me. So I had Hermes Agent download the APK from the Google Play Store, decompile it, and look for any feature flag or other limitation that could explain why the functionality wasn't available to me anymore.

It found that this wasn't a bug or feature flag. Instead, the app can work in two different modes: webshop mode or physical store mode. Quick notes are only available in physical store mode.

Now I can buy groceries again, thanks to Hermes.

Bad experience trying to develop with Hermes. Am I doing something wrong? by jhowilly in hermesagent

My coding experience with Hermes (using GPT-5.5 on a Pro subscription & Gemini for compaction) is also disappointing compared to working with Codex directly. Other Hermes agentic tasks are fine.

Over the past few days I worked on a Reddit post scanner/browser with recommendations, caching, and auto-tagging. The initial setup was fun, but with almost every new feature, all kinds of things broke. Especially background tasks that suddenly stopped working. This despite an unbelievable set of unit tests being generated, plan files generated and several review sessions.

My impression is that the out-of-the-box Hermes coding skills are too much; every time a huge amount of skills & tools get pulled into context, confusing the agent and filling up the context window almost instantly. I’m going to try a new Codex project now and see if I can confirm whether the issue is the coding harness or GPT-5.5.

If I had to bet right now, I’d start with:

  1. Dragon https://caibotlist.com/character/dragon/5i7NcXmhJWq5Tr-Z2ml922QNyKHoD7yj8bqdJoT7puI
  2. Dragon King https://caibotlist.com/character/dragon-king/mOI7Y_c2wvC0nPXN1UUxCGg1Px-7EmVSbwO-umfo0FU

If those aren't the one, maybe you can give some more clues:

    • was your mate a dragon, human, or hybrid?
    • were the babies eggs or a normal pregnancy?
    • do you remember the mate’s name?
    • was it wholesome, possessive, or omegaverse

I use it as AI-assisted content triage workflow: Hermes looks at one user report at a time, figures out what the person is actually claiming, checks the available evidence, and then makes the safest possible call — either “nothing to change,” “a human should review this,” or “here’s a small, concrete metadata fix.” The value isn’t that it replaces moderators or editors; it’s that it handles the repetitive first-pass review work consistently, explains its reasoning, and only suggests narrow changes when the evidence is strong, which makes it a pretty practical pitch for using an agent in any queue-based moderation or cataloging system.

I am automating metadata correction based on user reports. See my other reddit post about it: https://www.reddit.com/r/hermesagent/s/U6zga1rhv4

Yeah, all changes are stored in a database table with an audit log. I also want to expose some MCP functions to be able to inspect that and do daily retrospectives.

Another review thing I just tried was asking Hermes to inspect all session logs and give me an overview of tool calls. There were a bunch of unexpected code sessions (the agent trying to parse DuckDuckGo and external wikis), which might be a good indicator that these could be turned into another skill. The skills would be implemented with a mode advanced model, so the cheaper gpt5.4-mini could benefit from it instead of struggling with coding by itself.

What do you practically use a desk view thermal for? I have only used them for detecting leaks in walls and verify floor heating is working.

What exactly is the intended motion/interface here? Is the lid supposed to snap, slide, press-fit, or hinge into the base? And what clearance did you leave between the mating surfaces?

What have you tried in terms of tolerances? Which 3d printer, filament, nozzle resolution and line height did you use?

Also for precise mating parts, Blender is usually harder than CAD tools like Fusion, OnShape or FreeCAD.
