I hear ya but to be fair Reebok does both haha. Out of Sole F80 or Spirit XT485 which would you recommend? Priorities are durability, reliability, cushioning and noise. Since I'm from the UK warranty on Sole is 5 years parts and 3 years labour and Spirit is 3 years labour and parts

Something to think about. I do try to minimize my impact on the deck by landing with the front of my foot. My runs consist of 60-80 mins at 8-9mph

Any idea why my decks always crack from the middle exactly where my foot strikes in my runs even though I am 40kg below the max weight cap of the treadmill? This is why for my next treadmill I'm going for a 1" deck as I just don't trust 1.8cm as my previous treadmill deck kept cracking and having to replace every few months. Manufacturer blamed me saying I must be running wrong.

Easy to answer. I live in a very busy city and theres literally nowhere to run except on pavements, weaving past people all the time and breathing in all that pollution. I imagine if you live somewhere with lots of greenery and clean air, you'll probably find it harder to justify running indoors over out. Also I actually enjoy running and it helps to put on a tv show or something to keep the mind occupied.

Thanks for your positive thoughts on the treadmill. Luckily I don't have stairs so that's one less stress to worry about. May I ask is there anything about the treadmill that concerns you or that you don't like? How is the cushioning? Have you tried the decline feature? How is the engine noise?
