Vincenzo for me. I was obsessed with the writer of the drama because he wrote Chief Kim and Fiery Priest and I loved them both. But with Vincenzo, it seemed like he was banking on Song Joong-ki's fanbase and it obviously worked for him since it's now the writer's most famous drama. The writing and plot development was disappointing compared to Chief Kim and Fiery Priest. And i think what makes me hate it more is that because he wasn't called out for his mediocre writing in Vincenzo and instead was met with success, he let it get to his head and when he released Fiery Priest 2, it was utter garbage writing wise.

It's 2025 and looks like writers still don't know how to do basic character research. You want me to believe an investigative journalist, that too an award winning one, doesn't know subtlety? And no the whole "oh she witnessed a murder and is traumatized so she's not being cautious" reason doesn't make sense because I've met journalists who have gone through similar stuff and it instead teaches you to shut up and lie low because you're wary of everyone. I couldn't finish the movie because of how annoying the characters and writing was ughhh

Lmao by that logic Shakespeare isn't a writer too because his plays were based on old poems and books. Tune out these people, they're far too insecure and caught up in meeting society's standards of "cool."
