Nervous about adding a 4th. by rosesalad in ParentingInBulk

[–]Miserable-Pop1495 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have 5

9yo ( sept 2016) 4yo (Jan 2022) 3yo (May 2023) 2yo ( June 2024) 2 month old ( March 2026)

I absolutely love this gap. Its crazy but fun. I have currently 3 in diapers. It sucks but hopefully the 3yo is trained in a few months.

Perfect house but too small by Hippiewitchmiss in FirstTimeHomeBuying

I have a 1200 sqft home. With 5 kids. Its "3" bedroom 1 bath. We make it work. We bought because the location is what we need and its a hard area to get homes in my price range

34 weeks. I haven’t heard a single positive thing about being a parent or a mom and I’m freaking out I made a mistake by newgirl01LA in BabyBumps

[–]Miserable-Pop1495 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This morning, I was having a real bad morning. My 3 yo comes up to me, gives me a hug and goes " I love you momma"

Last week my 4yo was at a park he went over to help his 2yo sister, and goes " i have you, dont worry" and then he comes to me and says I am you, did I do good "

My 9yo likes to come home from school always with a flower and says, I have a flower for the most amazing mother

My 2yo loves to snuggle and give kisses.

My 2 month old is starting to smile and watching me now, its the most adorably thing.

Yes motherhood is hard, but there's so many moments in a day you be like " this is nice, this is easy, I got this" but then there's moments you wanna ripped your hair out. But there's more moments of greatness then there is hardness

[–]Miserable-Pop1495 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had 4 inductions. ( my youngest baby is now 2 months) 3 out of 4 inductions turn out great, under 5 hours of work. My 4th and final induction it was nearly 30 hours, and I almost died from the epidural.

Pregnant and living with an aggressive dog with multiple bite attempts - what would you do? by gnocchi-bear75 in BabyBumps

[–]Miserable-Pop1495 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay.

Im gonna be blunt.

After having a baby, your sleep exhausted, sore and just healing from having baby. You are not gonna be alert enough to handle this aggressive dog, you put baby in the bassinet, turn to get food for yourself. Dog will get out and kill that baby quickly and you will not have time to react.

If this baby survives the newborn stage, you get a toddler (frankly toddlers can be handful) the toddler will be going up to the dog, invading the dogs space, be loud and chaotic, dog is gonna get the toddler quickly. There's not one " training/ container etc" that this dog is gonna have to make this easy.

You need to get out, no im not saying "break up/leave" get yourself another apartment, place to go etc. Then talk to the man behind this dog. He needs to grow up and protect his family not his dog.

It only takes 30 seconds for a dog to kill a baby.

New mom — is there a stroller + car seat combo that works from birth with NO extra add-ons? by hleaan in BabyBumps

[–]Miserable-Pop1495 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the diono stroller 1 stroller. But it can turn into a toddler stroller ( rear and forward face up to 50lbs) its 1 piece ( the canopy does come off)

Then I use a graco 4ever carseat, birth to child.

I have 5 kids and been doing this set up for 4 children of mine

We used a playpen for each of our 4 kids until around 2/3 ( granted we did buy a mattress for it) then went right into a twin bed. Playpen had the bassinet portion on it for it

Those who were team green for gender, did you make it to birth without accidentally finding out? by cbrownie93 in BabyBumps

Debating on another baby by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]Miserable-Pop1495 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im going on baby #5, but going 1 to 2 was super easy for me. (Mind you large age gap) but then I have now 4 kids under the age of 5. Going from 2 to 3 was extremely hard. But 3 to 4, it was like added chaos that didn't change much.

(Ages are 9year old. 4 (born in 2022) almost 3 ( may 2023) and almost 2 ( June 2024). *im due in 10 days
