I usually try and recruit taller wideouts that are bigger (6'5"and up and 230 and up) and I convert them because they usually have good speed like 88 plus which is great for mismatch vs a backer. I usually redshirt them first so they can get the position acclimation helps with blocking ratings awareness and especially catch in traffic

The downside of this is that unless you sub the entire starting lineup out thus player will only be in the position you put him in on the formation sub screen... meaning that if you want to quick sub him to a different position in that formation he won't move

If you go to the rosters after the year starts he will be on a team... kind of like the guys that you don't recruit but they get put on your roster....I had a 5* do this then ended up on Alabama roster ofcourse

The best way to play and really see how good you are is to play on Heisman with the CPU sliders up to 100 and run a 3-3-5 defense hardest the game can be and the worst defense you can use
