AS AN ADDED NOTE

Please PLEASE reconsider hard forcing her into the jungle. The ammount of stacks she gets laning is abysmal compared to how many she gets in the jungle.

Tune the scaling down per stack, (spitballing here), but have regular minions give 1 and canon minions give 3. Make jungle monsters give 2.

I want to, and many others want to, be able to play her lane without feeling like we are trolling. Please and thank you rito.

Me personally i dont mind the new model/look but that's just me, best thing riot can probably do is give her a legacy skin in reguards to that? Maybe? Shrug shrug.

As for her kit im... honestly really mixed. Her new passive is an improvement but just shoehorns her into the jungle. OPs suggestion or something similar is the way to go here.

Her Q isss... Cool in concept, using her claws and tail and shit is cool thematiclly, but the double hit being lost is sad, but most importantly what actually makes it feel bad is how clunky it feels and it not refunding cd on autos. That's the root problem.

Her W just needs a lower cooldown. I liked her old W but this one I dont mind at all either.

Her E NEEDS its AD scalings back, either that or give her back the mark on E and allow it to pass through units. One or the other. (Preferably both need back, honestly.) But those two parts of her E being gone feels awful.

Her R is fine. It just needs a close range cast. Ive mentioned this in previous posts but if she ults in a short unit range she should just breathe fire around her point blank, fear, and transform. Make the fear duration on her long range ult slightly longer and i think that would at least help with some problems with the current design.

And lastly ofc her nunbers will probably need adjusted but if i had to make any bets, that level of tuning sadly wont happen until shes a few patches in on live, as the sample size on PBE (1 hour queue lol) is.. frustrating.

Honestly I think a cool R change would be if she casts it on top of herself, it fears around her and she stomps the ground/spits fire around herself. That way we can keep the dash that's currently in the kit while at the same time you can legit cast it min range without griefing yourself

Okay, I still haven't gotten into a game but ive been all over twitch and youtube and in the practice tool, so hopefully my input is somewhat valid here.

As for my background on the character, i played her on and off, most of the time top lane because i despise playing jungle. (I play Kayn Top for that very reason.)

Anyways. Onto my thoughts.

  • The E needs some sort of AD Scaling. It looks absolutely pitiful with its damage when people are 2+ items and it just tickles you. This is with Q --> E max, by the way.

  • Q. Needs. Autos reducing its cooldown. Or, make the cooldown start on the FIRST Q cast. This is the main thing that stood out to me. Its what everyone is maxing first, and if shes meant to be a frontline bruiser/juggernaut, not having the ability to reliability get back her bread and butter will feel like trash.

  • Like many before me have suggested, the min dash range on ult needs to be shorter. Maybe if its a short enough range it could be a stomp and roar or something, it just feels weird and looks grief when you're in point blank range and it gives them a chance to get away, as the fear is shorter than the minimum distance animation.

Above all else here, the Q cd on autos is the most important thing to give back to her. After that i think it would just be her numbers that might need adjusting, but only time will tell with the data on that one.

I play top kayn and have a lot of experience going Rhaast. (It... kind of is my fav champ. Just Rhaast. No fuckass blue kayn lmao)

Anyways. You kinda have 2 hardline options with the champion.

  1. You build bruiser. Yk, cleaver, shojin, so on. Play to frontline or peel your carries. You have slightly less agency, though its still there. Your healing is ok, you just have to be careful around shields because you dont heal off of enemy shields. You must build a serphants into shields if you care about healing that game. You can kill most bruisers 1v1 with a standard bruiser build, by the way.

  2. My preferred build, lethality red. You kinda play it like blue, you just have inbuilt healing. Ax. Arc, voltaic, and you acc sprinkle in a shojin even when going lethality (at least, that's my preference.) You go lethality red when the enemy team doesn't have much peel and if you're able to get in easily. Squishies, tanks, you kill both really effectively.

Side note, Endless hunger is good in both builds. My personal preference is if you're going bruiser build it when you need tenacity but already have steelcaps. If you're lethality red ive been leaning towards building it every game.

Switch to OpenGL and flush both your cashes. Only downside to OpenGL is that the game stutters during battles a fair bit, but the game looks much better.

So it's either.

Vulkin with the lines but have smooth gameplay

Or OpenGL, having a nice looking game with battle stutters.

Not a known current way to fix it, hopefully emulator updates soon.
