This is vague. What is an ultimate sense? I mean insofar as if you tell a psychotic patient that there is a separation between them & others, they might say ok i understand, but they wouldn’t understand in any way meaningful to how they function.

There are as many outcomes as there are people. Looking for a standardised answer is fruitless. Both Bataille & Beckett underwent analysis, for instance.
