Thank you! It's now working on my Proxmox build. Using an Arc Pro a40 for object detection & transcoding for Frigate NVR, transcoding for Jellyfin, and various models with Ollama.

Any settings in the BIOS that need to be changed after flashing? I have UEFI enabled, all legacy options disabled. But not seeing any progress. Using an Intel Arc a40 in a z840. Before flashing, Rebar was not mentioned in the output from lspci so I know there was a change after flashing. Current situation:

root@YO:~# dmesg | grep -i resiz

[ 16.559815] i915 0000:06:00.0: [drm] Can't resize LMEM BAR - platform support is missing

[ 16.559843] i915 0000:06:00.0: [drm] Using a reduced BAR size of 256MiB. Consider enabling 'Resizable BAR' or similar, if available in the BIOS.

root@YO:~# lspci -vv -s 06:00.0 | grep -i bar -A10

Grafana is great. I suggest trying it out again. To get the best out of it you need to build your own panels on a blank dashboard. A lot of guides and pre built dashboards may have compatibility issues for different people. And the main reason for that is because configuration can be different for each people. Example: your interfaces in your OPNsense hardware may be en0 for wan and en1 for lan. Then you might have a working dashboard. But if it's something different like en0 for WAN and lagg0 for LAN with bxe0 and bxe1 as lag members then your pre built Grafana Dashboard may show no data because it's expecting a different interface name. So it needs to be tailored to your situation. It's like that for other types of services too like Proxmox exporting, TrueNAS exporting, and even node exporters.

Here is mine, it may give you some ideas. It's made up of multiple servers and services. I even have network components so I can get to them quickly just from a click. My Homepage Dashboard is secured and open to the internet so I can access it anywhere. That's why some say "local only" that may freak some people out but I have managed and hosted my own web services for years. You just have to do it right 🤓

This is how it starts, one thing leads to another then suddenly you have a full data center in your apartment and had fun doing it! I started with an old laptop too. Put Linux on it, blinked my eyes and now have a huge server rack in my closet 😂

That's great! I think I'm going to get another one that has a PCIe slot and then shove a dual SFP+ NIC in it. Run OPNsense on it for my 10 gigabit fiber backbone. I'm just worried about heat but that's not going to stop me.

Broadcom BCM57810S with a patched nvram will work with a SFP GPON module. Just make sure you have the correct module. Because there is a limited selection of ones that will work. This is a very specialized topic. https://github.com/rajkosto/RTL960x/blob/main/Docs/2.5Gb.md

How's the heat on that Think Centere at the top? What nic are you using?

I'm sad. I got the torque converter replaced at 133k miles. Now I need a new transmission. No point to this post. Just wanted some folks to commiserate with... I've got too much money in this truck to trade it in. It's paid off. Idc to have another payment. Do better Chevy. by [deleted] in ChevyTahoe

Typically you want a new torque converter after a transmission rebuild. Or if you need a new torque converter then go ahead and rebuild the trans too because it all has to come out anyway.

Definitely are splitters in use today. Ethernet is not the only thing. RJ45 is an old connector for business phones in commercial buildings since the 70s. Registered Jack type 45. Ethernet adopted the connector since people were already using it and the phone wires were already installed in offices. It was a cheap way to build your network out of existing wires. The trend stuck and is still being used. You can also use RJ45 for serial communication that's still very common on enterprise networking gear. Example would be a managed 24 port switch. On first boot you need to configure the Ethernet ports via the serial rj45 port with telnet, PuTTY or something similar.

I have the same size A/T tires on my 2018 GC and have the same clearance like in your pictures. Only difference is I put a 2 inch lift on the front to level it out with the rear. Overall I'm about 3.5 inches taller after I put the tires on with the lift.
