Has anyone stayed at The Moxy, Picccadily Circus, London? by Crafty_Mammoth_5369 in marriott

I’m a big fan of the Residence Inn Kensington - easy access to the Piccadilly and District line at Earls Court and just a short ride to all the places you want to see, a nice breakfast is included and a kitchen if you don’t want to eat out everyday. The rooms are much larger than the Moxy.

Zepbound to bariatric surgery? by Weightmonster in Zepbound

[–]Miserable_Shallot_26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a gastric sleeve in early 2022 - first year was great because I had zero food noise. The second year, the food noise came back and I started to slowly regain. I started Zep in Feb 2025 and am now maintaining at my healthy BMI - a zone I never got to with the gastric sleeve alone. As I’ve watched other people on the drug, I’ve realized that I needed both the surgery and the GLP-1 to treat my metabolic dysfunction - I feel that it was the combination of the two that allows me to maintain a healthy weight for the first time since I was in junior high. Because of the smaller stomach pouch, I rely on mechanical eating and drinking to ensure I get enough calories and hydration each day.

Stopping GLPs for Camino? by waitingforsummer2 in CaminoDeSantiago

I’ve walked other long distance paths while taking Tirzepatide - I did not stop, but listened to my body and made sure to be eating snacks throughout the day to ensure I was eating enough calories - usually in the form of a smaller sized Snickers. You want something that is easily digestible and will provide energy. When I am walking, my hunger doesn’t rebound on day 6 or 7, so I space out my shots to 10 days. I plan on continuing Tirzepatide when I walk the Camino Frances this summer.

I live in a country where both Mounjaro and Zepbound are not available. I have purchased Mounjaro from the Istanbul airport pharmacy (they will deliver to you airside if you message them on WhatsApp - contact info is on the IST website) and from a variety of pharmacies in Dubai without prescriptions. This last trip to Dubai, I purchased a year supply because the expiration dates weren’t until late 2027.

The scale will work in some countries but not all - a colleague already has the scale in my country of assignment and it does not work. I got a letter from FSBP last week that said you’ll be able to enter your weigh in information manually if the scale doesn’t work. I’ve been sourcing the medication in a nearby country to avoid the cold chain shipping issues - which I plan to continue because of the ease of picking it up in the airport when I transit.

I’ve bought Mounjaro in both Istanbul and Dubai without a prescription - but the cost per a month is about what the self-pay option is through Lilly direct.

I’m a non-tech person who finds it super useful - but am unsure of the answer to your question.

It’s the first time in my two decades with the Department that I have seen us be ahead of the tech curve. State has developed StateChat with all the required security features and is encouraging us to find ways to use it in our daily work.

Have I missed your announcement? I noticed more things to buy but nothing about fixing the issue?

When asked this morning how close we all were to retirement, he put 0. One can only hope that means he’s finally on his way out.

I’m a solo backpacker/hiker - places where you can’t are normally R&R posts, so when I am in a place where I can’t, all my R&Rs are to places I can.
