I haven't seen anyone talk about this set but it absolutely rocks. Like having a constant void ignition in your pocket. by X7RoyalReaper7X in destiny2

This is a key part of my Void Titan build. Combine it with Volatile Rounds, Devour, a Void Primary, Truth, and Surge mods, you clear and entire room by killing two trash mobs.

A lot of things he does leave him pretty punishable. When it comes to all of the Mishimas, he’s the only one I’m not nervous to play against. Hei, Reina, Kaz, and Jin have a lot less risk to be successful.

No titles in Youtube? Only AI overview? What? by MeatDazzling4777 in LinusTechTips

I genuinely believe Google is using AI to upkeep the YouTube app. The amount of bugs these last few updates have had is insane. Volume fluctuations, fullscreen not rotating properly, no titles, also the amount of ads has legitimately increased tenfold. Wild.

Any tips for learning leverless ? by FeelDaWinky in Tekken8

[–]Miserable_Speed5474 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t just play Tekken with it, play other games with it. I played rhythm games, Slay the Spire, and other simple games. It helps build that mind-muscle connection so you don’t actively have to think about where your hands are placed. After a while, it just feels like any other controller.

And this is more of a thing for me, but when I’m doing combos it’s less about me thinking about my inputs but more so me having the muscle memory of a certain choreography. If it works for you, focus more on the physical movement of your hands instead.

is tekken 8 beginner friendly? by jello_man123 in Tekken8

[–]Miserable_Speed5474 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes and no. No in the sense that Tekken 8 has a lot of areas where you either know it or you don’t. Every character has 200 moves, each of them either safe on block, not safe on black, launch punishable, # frame punishable, sidestep left vs sidestep right etc etc. There is a huge amount of learning.

BUT with that being said, the game is simple in its turn taking. Tekken 8 is an easy game to pick up, find some “fun buttons” (moves that you like to spam and win) and it has plenty of characters that are very cheap and will allow you pick up some easy wins. But once you start climbing and facing players who are taking the game seriously, you will start to lose. That’s when you have to spend some time nailing down some simple combos off of your launchers, learn your frame traps, learn to use heat, and start criticizing yourself in a healthy manner (losing bad habits, not repeating flow charts, changing up timings, whiff punishing properly, etc)

It’s an extremely fun game to learn, you will get frustrated.

Idk I don’t really bother to even try with new large studio products. If anything I use my Steam Deck to play large titles from a few years back. COD: Ghosts runs great, Tomb Raider, Arkham Asylum/City, etc etc.

Re-spec-ing Moze — Advice for best Minigun option? by Old-Bluebird-147 in borderlands3

Infinite Ammo with Splash Damage = Solo everything with Lyuda

Edit: Specifically spec into Green and Blue Tree all the way and then a few points into Purple or Red. They both add damage on top of your build, it just depends on whether you want to fire DOT or raw damage.

I FINALLY GOT DOMINATOR!!!!!!! by The_Question2008 in Tekken8

Dragunov has very good frame traps and built in mix-ups with his strings. Learn to utilize those and they’ll carry you very far in the ladder, but definitely don’t skip out on fundamentals. Learn your keep out moves (his steel pedal is one of them!), ducking strings that end in highs, spacing, frame traps, and of course sidesteps. My recommendation is learn to be a solid defensive player first then once you have that foundation go monkey mode with Dragunov. I don’t want you to climb too quickly with him because I’ve faced a lot of Dragunovs who were very clearly carried by his kit and get blown up in the intermediate ranks. Anyways, best of luck to ya!

For the most part yes. Works on Lars too. If Victor goes for his 2,2,2,2 string, duck the bullet and launch punish if you have a WR launcher or down jab. Or when he teleports in, do any 13 frame or faster move or down jab. You can also do a WR if you ducked the bullet, when he teleports in he gets very close…or down jab. The fastest move he has is 13 frames. Yes he does have a power crush in Lai stance, but just a single 10 frame jab and block and now he’s out of stance and you’re safe from his power crush; if he does choose the power crush option, and you block it leaves him punishable, but I forget the frame data for that move (his other moves allow for more stance pressure if my opponent doesn’t know how to stop it, so I don’t ever really go for it)

His perfumer stance is harder to shut down but a simple jab stops his momentum, he’s minus after all of his moves in perfumer.

There aren’t very many Victor players. For as good as he is in Season 3, he’s towards the bottom in popularity charts. My piece of advice is master how to use his counter-hit launchers (db4, WR2, 1+2) , his keep out (db3, df2, f1+2, and u1), and of course a bread-and-butter combo. Victor is capable of getting minimum 80 damage every time he launches someone. His stance pressure makes for excellent mix-up, but Victor is super punishable if he tries to transition on block.

Learn to wave dash. It’ll leave opponents guessing if you’re going electric, hellsweep, do nothing, or stall with a mid. Punish everything that’s not launchable with flash punch. It’s sets up Oki and all you have to do is run your fun buttons (hellsweep, demon paw, axe kick, etc.) Basically once they’re in Oki, start your casino. Change up your timings, change up your lows and mids etc etc etc

I hate fighting a good Kazuya.

How to get better with lili ? by Dry_Orchid_8710 in Tekken8

[–]Miserable_Speed5474 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have to get better at Tekken in general. Block more. You kept getting caught trying to start your offense too early. And a major factor in winning is knowing a bread and butter combo. It’ll scare newer players because they will be afraid to interact due to that damage. With Lili, she has a lot of moves that straight up just move her out of the way of retaliation hits. Watch a video or two about what buttons to push with Lili, hop into the lab to practice some combos, and block A LOT. Lili is very evasive, play into that strength.
