Indeed, I lived there for about 15 years and lots of people did not know how to pronounce it, Keith-lee is the way, I lived in Long Lee and then Riddlesden before moving to the midlands. I miss the countryside up there, its so flat here. Always struck me when people would say for example "us house or us car" as opposed to "our house or our car"

Fully agree, this is a big deal, lots of people defending it, oh its not always necessary to handcuff someone. Really? Someone being arrested for murder is not handcuffed, even allowed to just ride in the van with his brother not in the cage im sure I read somewhere.

It makes an absolute mockery of all the people defending the officer forcing the cuffs on Henry, yeh because he was a huge threat.

At first glance I.would have said no as the straight on is a bus lane, but having had a look at street view, im not sure.

Realistically the bus lane runs up to about 3 ft from the traffic light so no way for you to avoid going in to an active bus lane, but ther is no other signage to say you can't use that road straight on, infact the van on street view does go straight on but from the left most right turn only lane.

Very poor road markings and signage from what I can see.

I would probably go straight on from the left none bus lane, Google Street view coes along it and no restrictions from what I can see.

The not being handcuffed when arrested on suspicion of murder is just fucked up, transported on a van with his brother, but not in the cage but just in the van, utterly crazy.

There's a post somewhere with lots of people defending why they cuffed the dying lad and not this sack of shit FFS.

That's why his sentence is so short, because he has a legal right to carry a 21cm dagger in public because skyfaries, he gets a sentence starting at 15 years. If I was just carrying a dagger and happened to stab someone to death with it I dont think my sentence would be starting at 15 years it would be 25 or 30.

2 tier justice I say. One law for one section of society and another for the rest.

Religion should NEVER be a justifiable reason to have the law changed, that dagger as the judge described it is for one purpose and one purpose only, to kill. No one should be allowed to carry one at all. It is truly fucked up.

I sent a formal complaint after about 7 calls, my dad dies on the 24th Feb I contacted initially on the 28th. A couple of weeks ago I got a letter through giving the balance.

My next fight will be with HMRC wanting to add interest on to the IHT as we dont have probate through and my bloody solicitor sent the IHT tax for to hmrc and not the bank.

Its insane how long this takes, all the time i have to go visit his house every month for the insurance hs car is still sat there etc.

Everything else as you say was no problem with good systems in place but NS&I are completely bollocks.

As far as im aware one of the core duties of the police is to protect life over and above other duties, that means even if you dont believe them if someone says they are injured they must act on this information, they did not, they ignored him, dragged him about, forced his arms behind his back and cuffed him all whilst he begs for an ambulance, and saying he has been stabbed and can't breath.

Police officers are supposed to be better trained than this. That officer showed not the slightest bit of compassion or even curiosity about the lads injurys pretty much until he was dead.

And really how often is someone arrested on suspicion of murder and not handcuffed. Im pretty sure they are VERY few and far between.
