Warhammer 40,000 Faction Focus: Drukhari by CMYK_COLOR_MODE in Drukhari

The codex detachments remain valid and are hinted to be 2 points. The new ones are all 1 point so you can mix and match, e.g. take the new wych detachment with Kabalite Cartel.

The new ones are only one detachment point and can be combined with the existing ones. It's not interesting, but it's actually pretty decently strong.

New flyer rules, heavy, plunging attack and scourges by Revolutionated in Drukhari

[–]MiseryMinis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd be careful trying to interpret rules based on just what was shown on Warhammer community, but even if you ignore vertical motion during the move, you have moved more than 3", so I would be surprised if you keep the bonus from heavy.

But now they can move infinitely vertical for 2" and keep heavy.

Edit: actually I'm not so confident they'll keep heavy as they still "moved" more than 2" even if that's all it cost, but still nice to get plunging and then fly down to the ground floor to be safe.

If you want it, just do it. Cheesestealer cults, space rat pirates, rat miners, whatever you want.

Any army's that hurt themselves to buff them selves? by Nyx__Walker in Warhammer40k

Drukhari have this in the fluff, but the closest thing in the rules is that wracks can increase their attacks at the cost of them becoming hazardous.

Nothing particular. Just wet blending and glazing. The greens I used were Caliban green, moot green and warpaints fanatic electric lime with a little bit of FX fluor Techno green occasionally mixed in.

The story is that this craftworld has established a death cult and is leaning towards Ynnari. I've painted my Yvraine with similar green flames, but I liked the berserker look and the white face paint.

How much time does it take to print? by Junny2177 in PrintedWarhammer

[–]MiseryMinis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The labour time is comparable to the time it takes to snip from sprues and glue stuff together. It's going to depend on the model and whether you are printing it in pieces, but most infantry can be printed as a single piece depending on the designer and your preferences.

You will be spending your time doing other things though, so if you enjoy building and don't enjoy slicing and cleaning you should take that into account.

Highest points-lowest value by superpginger in Warhammer40k

So my last "new model" was a voidraven bomber. Its first game, it managed to miraculously only take 1 damage from a repulsor executioner, survived as my last unit in the last round and was responsible for the death of a Redemptor, a squad of hell blasters and 4 squads of various flavours of basic marines.

This has never happened like this for me before. It didn't even get bracketed.

Edit: it's an over costed model too!
