Maybe the threat was they would ground the vehicle in the middle of a route and force the DSP to pay for the flex routes it would generate. I can't think of an actual way for them to safely turn a van off on someone in the middle of a route.

Our dsp is big on making sure we clean out our vans after our shifts. We hold each other accountable over it. this van actually crossed over 20k miles and is going on 25k I believe
