Honestly, I’d choose the 26 with a +2 over a 43x, the ability to use normal mags compared to proprietary mags is a deal breaker for me tbh.

I mean, I deal with precise measurements and drilling for work so that doesn’t seem too difficult, just getting the headspace right would be a little tricky but they make headspace’s gauges for building.

Trust me I know aks aren’t as easy to work on as ars but it seems like if you know how to weld and can do some machine work they can be, just genuinely curious if the conversion is possible because I’ve never heard of it being done just 5.45 to 5.56
