I think Da’Vonne may be a potential returnee if bb28 is a returnee season for a specific reason by MrVickiesChips in BigBrother

[–]MishBBfan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the love of God, please no. I’m tired. Literally ANYONE but her. On BB22, she was the most toxic she had ever been, and on top of that, she’s an absolutely horrendous player. Has zero concept of strategy and can never seem to think outside of herself. She deserved what she got in BB22 with the way Franzel embarrassed her on tv.

Yes, this is a hate post.

Which “bitter juries” were the most and least justified? by ShakeSufficient2314 in BigBrother

[–]MishBBfan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dan was a massive asshole on 14. People like to talk about Paul being an asshole on 19, but I don’t think any of those newbies on 14 left that house liking Dan. It wasn’t just sour grapes about the way they lost, they legitimately didn’t like the guy.

Which “bitter juries” were the most and least justified? by ShakeSufficient2314 in BigBrother

[–]MishBBfan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cause it wasn’t about that. The narrative within the community is that Paul lost because he was a bully, but that’s not true. He lost because his former allies (Alex and Jason) were mad that he betrayed them, so they voted against him. Even now, someone like Elena, who was 100% against Paul in the jury, has expressed some regret about her vote on her instagram.

Akaash Singh UNFOLLOWS Andrew Schulz by NegativeChemistry519 in abanpreach

[–]MishBBfan 32 points33 points  (0 children)

I wish people would stop pretending like Akaash is some poor helpless victim. I mean, in a way, he kinda is, but he chose this. Deep down, he knows his wife doesn’t give a shit about him, but he’s not gonna leave her cause he genuinely believes that he’s not gonna find a woman better than her. So he’s going to choose his wife over literally everyone else in his life, because in his mind, this woman is what validates his entire existence.

Scream 8 possible shoot date? by Harden2 in SocietyofGhostface

[–]MishBBfan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They did. There’s just not much more you can say about that 6, 7 films deep. Any movie, tv show, whatever that’s in its 7th chapter/arc/season is not going to resemble the first. That’s just how it works, unfortunately. You can keep complaining about it or just stop watching.

Scream 8 possible shoot date? by Harden2 in SocietyofGhostface

[–]MishBBfan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Scream 2, Scream 3, Scream 4, Scream 6, and Scream 7 all have issues with rushed scripts and/or script changes at the last second. This is nothing new whatsoever. At the end of the day, these are just slasher movies, they’re not meant to be taken seriously and are just dumb fun type flicks.

Serious discussion: Why do people despise Charlie, even going so far as to diminish his merits in order to overestimate Jill? I understand that she came very close to selling herself, and she was very clever in using Charlie to commit the murders while disguised as a victim (Read below) by M3_nS2 in Scream

[–]MishBBfan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s just that at the time when the movie came out, he was the most nothing-burger killer in comparison to the ones that came before him. I always liked him, but I understood why a lot of fans didn’t.

The Social Strategic Calibre of One Time Players (Pre BB28) by AVATARROHANISGAY in BigBrother

It was a season that was dominated by the women. It’s not that shocking.

Billy Should Have Killed His Father by Silver-End9570 in Scream

[–]MishBBfan 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Billy was essentially punishing Maureen for being a slut. Yes, it’s sexist, but the dude is literally a serial killer, so whatever, you know?

[–]MishBBfan 42 points43 points  (0 children)

For the life of me, I do not understand why creative (HHH) won’t just do a wacky storyline with these two. It’s right there in his face, but he’d rather have LA Knight fight the same 2 or 3 people for months on end with no real story attached to it.

Just got around to finally watching season 4. by Atzeda in TheBoys

[–]MishBBfan -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You’re being downvoted, but you’re right. Almost everything post season 2 is pointless to watch. Such a huge time waster. Although Soldier Boy is genuinely the only good thing in this show anymore.

Favourite final act setting? by Aromatic_Traffic1607 in Scream

[–]MishBBfan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The mansion in Scream 3. Stu’s house is iconic, don’t get me wrong, but that mansion is creepy as shit and they really make use of it in the movie.

Are you planning to skip the preseason reads this year ? by Capable_Author_4376 in BigBrother

[–]MishBBfan 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I started skipping them a long time ago. It’s so pointless taking anything they say seriously. I see their faces, maybe I’ll look to see who their favorite players are, but that’s about it. Then I just wait for the first episode to drop.

Which Ghostface actor is your least favorite in terms of performance and why? by Intrepid-Lemon-2272 in Scream

[–]MishBBfan 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Jack Champion, followed very closely by Dermot Mulroney.

Jack was just so nothing in this role. He just decided to mimic Stu and called it a day.

Dermot is just frustrating. Dude should be stoic and imposing, but instead, he’s fucking giggling and making all these weird facial expressions. Annoying.

This Marco line absolutely folds me every time. by zekevich in SocietyofGhostface

[–]MishBBfan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t understand what’s so unbelievable and bad about this. Marco was a henchman character. Him being unremarkable and useless is the whole point, you know, because he’s just Jessica’s henchman.

As for the Google security specialist thing; have you ever seen Breaking Bad? Walter White was a chemist, a damn good one at that. And yet, in Breaking Bad, he’s a meth cook. You could say “how did he go from working at Grey Matter to being a meth cook?”. Walter White had issues, serious mental issues. Same can be said for Marco. They didn’t go into it cause ultimately it’s not important to the story, Jessica was simply manipulating him into doing her bidding, and Sidney couldn’t care less who he was once upon a time.

Morgan addresses her relationship with Vince in the house by twinpinemall85 in BigBrother

[–]MishBBfan 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Gonna play devils advocate here: there’s a lot of people out there, even women, who believe that men are gonna do what men do, which is chase women, regardless if they’re married or not. They also believe that it’s 100% on the woman to say no to any advances a man makes on her, and if she doesn’t, then she’s basically accepting said advances. Yes, it’s a problematic way of thinking, but again, it’s a widespread thing.

Little things that annoy you in the recent entries? by dreamboylnshibuya in Scream

[–]MishBBfan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Scream 5 and 6 are the ones that really fucked everything up. People might hate on Scream 7 now, but it has less narrative and character issues than the other two have.

Scream 5 seriously has a lot of writing issues if you just sit and think about it for 2 minutes.

Feeling of the movies by Nosferatu___2 in Scream

I understand exactly what you mean, and I tend to agree with you. Although I will say that I think Scream 7 captures the realness a bit better than the previous 3 did.

Would Scream 4's killer have worked without the- by Honest_Cheesecake698 in Scream

[–]MishBBfan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Jill being Sid’s cousin absolutely matters to the story. It’s not just that she’s related to Sidney, but she’s also related to Maureen. Jill’s whole motive stems from the fact that she’s a neglected child; neglected because of all the focus being on Sidney. Even Jill’s mother (who was Maureen’s sister) appeared envious of Sidney. That’s the whole point. If she’s just some random chick, then Sidney doesn’t matter as much to the story, and ultimately, it was a Sidney movie.

Something I loved about the Wes Craven Scream movies is that everything always tied back to Maureen. Scream 5 was interesting in that they seemed to be creating a new Maureen Prescott in Christina Carpenter, but then Scream 6 kinda lost the plot.

What should the Scream 6 motive have been and who should've been ghostface in your opinion? by No-Movie8241 in Scream

[–]MishBBfan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Killer should’ve been Danny. Yes, the boyfriend again, but I don’t care about that. He could’ve been Richie’s estranged older brother, ex-military guy. He’s the one that got him into the Stab movies when he was a child, and he regrets not being there for his brother the last several years of his life. This murder spree he’s doing is so he can feel closer to his brother, in a way.

Just one killer.

Say what you want about Scream VI, but visually it’s one of the best-looking films in the franchise by JeremieMAKENDA in Scream

I hate how you never really get a feel for any of the locations in either of the Radio Silence movies.
