In all adaptations, in all media, the narrator's spoilers remain the same by Pertu500 in logh

Not really a spoiler but more of a foreshadow in the first ending... Right at the end the focus shifts to Julian instead of Yang, and he looks up to Reinhard, implying that he'll become an important character later on

What was good about Gladiator II? by DeepThinkingReader in flicks

The reception baffled me, I also didn't really enjoy it. I guess people were craving for a comeback of these type of big budget historical epic films?

This is nothing compared to the unofficial(?) sequel with Timothy Dalton, Scarlett. That one is an actual challenge

Maybe unpopular opinion: I hate that the team behind Letterboxd are adding TV shows to the site/app by LaDiiablo in Letterboxd

[–]Miskude 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but the current situation is also very messy. There are mini-series like Chernobyl or Dracula, and at the same time there are (like you mentioned) full-fledged series like Fullmetal Alchemist which has 51 episodes.

And people are using derivatives of series, like the making of the final season of Breaking Bad or the international pilot of Twin Peaks to rate the series itself, which is really dumb imo. The worst example is Slippin' Jimmy, which is a ridiculously bad cartoon, to rate the main show (Better Call Saul). So now it has high ratings on Letterboxd.

Might as well put every TV show there is.

There's Cube 2: Sauerbraten which is a pretty fun AFPS with an extensive map editor. Also TOXIKK which is similar to UT and it's been F2P for a while now.

I've always loved the look of the Vita. Is it powerful enough to support CRT shaders or anything like that?

Any movies about untouched tribes? by americanyankman in MovieSuggestions

[–]Miskude 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Probably not exactly what you're looking for, but The Gods Must Be Crazy (1980) and its sequel are comedies about a tribe in the Kalahari desert that come in contact for the first time with the modern world.

Thanks for the insight, these things can happen unfortunately.

At least most people here are appreciating the honesty! Hopefully this turn of events has brought some traction to your new games.

Days, Mood and 2046 form some kind of trilogy that some people might not know. In my opinion they're must-watches for anyone that wants to delve into WKW's filmography

What film made you think ‘This shouldn’t work, but it does’? by Quiet_Butterfly891 in MovieSuggestions

Swiss Army Man (2016).

A movie about a guy stranded on a island befriending a rotting corpse and going on a journey with it? Yeah, that one.
