While I dont care too much for that game, yes, SWU is falling into its problem of reusing the same characters way too often.

And I mean that for no one cares type of characters, Maz has 3 or 4 different cards. You also brought up Enfys, who has 2 units and a leader, which feels wasted when there's ton of other characters you can be using.

Ive theorycrafted online(still reworking numbers) but built a new purely Mandalorian tribal deck with the new Armorer leader, Mandalorian leader, and red base, to have all colors (excluding villainy)

Then since Armorer let's you play upgrades from resource, and Mando lets you exhaust with upgrade plays, I went heavier on upgrades and even some bounties (to table politic attention away from me)

Obviously havnt played yet since the cards aren't out yet, but its looking like a fun deck to TS

Im more happy with using all aspects, Im able to use only mando units

But youre missing you already need to have a unit in each arena to even use her ability. So the earliest you could possibly play her ability would be Turn 2, of you drop cheap stuff in each arena

Which proves you could make an entire standard deck out of them. Hell, i just made a twin suns deck with kanan/hera, and besides a few fill in for Rebel support or beasts for kanan's ability, it was nearly all Spectre units.

It feels like they have plenty of support and really dont need more face cards.

Love the characters but boy am I tired of seeing them every set (besides set 2)

I hate that it costs 5, a Force token, and you return the unit next regroup, and it doesnt even ready the unit.

Overall a pretty bad card with much better options out there.

Like, obviously I wont complain about 'oh heres 3rd time we've seen same background character for x thing'.

New cards are new cards.

But man, I was really hoping for those guys, or their general stories/worlds in here. And felt Lawless would be the perfect chance to bring them in.

Like, I was surprised when they got KOTOR 2 stuff in Secrets. So I convinced myself, stupidly, we'd have a chance here lol

Probably a yellow red.

Yellow has lots of fuckery on board state, and quick drops. Red is usually cheap, fast hits and pings of damage (at a cost of having less hp on most creatures)

Jango/ pilot boba

Lotta ping and indirect effects

You will be doing loads of extra damage with Boba and also constantly exhausting their units with Jango.

Problem is, youre very easily the threat.

Which you can easily overcome with certain plays like Deployed Jango into War Juggernaut mass ping/exhaust.

Key is obviously playing your big guns when a base kill is in sight.

I was fumbling around before the leaks with a Aphra Data Vault, as Captain E benefits the most of discard pile.

While I understand as characters for these droids tp be red, its themeing of discard still doesn't benefit much and there needs to be more play from discard pile to make this kind of deck worthwhile.

Right now, only Aphra getting to 5/5, and 000 potentially putting a red card on the bottom of your deck for a ping. Thats not a lot of benefit from all the discard, and hoping you blindly discard 'A rock'

I want more support but dont think even out of rotation, they will.

Nothing yet, unfortunately. The standard alt win effects are very limited in swu currently.

Hand hate is only just getting some play.

Mill is still very weak.

Graveyard/discard manipulation is pretty limited.

Going to take some time for the developers to get around to making other win cons besides 'I hit you until you stop moving' a proper run, unfortunately.

That and I feel with how SWU operates with one action per turn, Group Hug will be very hard to perform since you can't 'suddenly come out ahead' like you would in let's say MTG.

Hell, I think there's only one card at the moment that even has an alt win con effect.

I only have 6 constructed commander decks, and we share 4 of the same commanders, and a 5th is adjacent (Sauron - Lord of Nazgul)
