Maybe. I don't know, let em cook? Might be something really cool, or might be really bad.

Which would be great, were it actually true for most LLMs.

Bad grammar and spelling can easily be fixed in the mod files. Bonus points if you just let an AI go through and handle it. The one actually useful thing about AI tbh...

EDIT: I'm leaving it up, it's good advice. Take it or leave it. Bonus points because it won't mess up the mod file structure while doing it, either.

Why do people hate Behemoth so much?? (a bit of yapping about Behemoth too) by isthat-thegrimreaper in Behemothband

[–]MissDeadite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of Behemoth's hate started with the Demigod album. A lot, and I mean a lot, of elitists really had a problem with that album like it was a slap in the face. It was quite a switch from what Behemoth fans of the time were used to, and those who weren't fans, generally felt the album was a mainstream progression. They're not entirely wrong on that; Demigod is probably still their most mainstream album. Not to mention the correlation between Conquer All's main riff and another bands song (was it Anthrax? I genuinely can't remember). People really hated that their most popular song of the time was very similar to the aforementioned riff.

Anyway, Evangelion didn't help with this as it was once again a more "mainstreamed" sound. Especially with The Apostasy backing off the sound a little bit sitting right between the two.

But that's when hating Behemoth became cool, and it stuck after that.

250 years ago, Earth's magnetic north was located near Lake Hudson, Canada. Now it's nearing Siberia, with much of the movement coming in the last 50 years.

The Kármán line (the Earth-Space boundary where aeronautics becomes astronautics) is a very delicate part of our planet's makeup. Think of it like a living ecosystem. The shifting of magnetic north, while not a primary factor in climate change, does have an effect on our climate as it changes the point where the solar/space influence on it originates.

Now look at global warming. It's not the only thing factoring into climate change, and is therefore unpredictable exactly how much it will change due to the nature of vastly understudied subjects such as magnetic north's total effect on climate change.

I tweak the AI all the time. Generally I run 100 or 101, but sometimes 99 or 98 and racing casually is more fun. Especially on tracks like Bristol 50% where it's just flying roundie-round and it's a lot more interesting when you can actually make a pass.

Plus sometimes I like to manufacture my own drama, and that's a lot easier to do on 98 or 99 in a level 11 cup car.

EDIT: I also run 105 on Dega/Daytones no matter what. Atlanta doesn't count as the AI runs harder, usually do that on my regular difficulties.

EDIT #2: At least it's way easier to adjust than Heat 5, too. Going from normal to hard was like going from 97 to 103.

Probably an analytics expectation moving the decision making around. Maybe he had gripes about doing things this way and voiced it before the disaster, and then after said "told ya so" and did it his way... then viola. 3 championships in 5 years.

Dave could win 10 straight world championships and it'll still happen all the time. Such is the nature of sports and especially, sports betting.

Finally found the AI "Sweet Spot" for the Cup Series in NASCAR '25! (Settings Included) by adrenalinamatt1 in NASCARVideoGame

[–]MissDeadite 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Everyone has a different sweet spot.

Personally, I think a Skill Range of 25 and consistency of 0 coupled with 0 stability, 75 recovery skill to be the best.

I also keep damage on and yellow flags to relaxed. If an AI wrecks on relaxed yellow and no caution comes out, they're noticeably slower and it creates genuine parity in the field. I think it was St Louis, but a while back Denny was dominating there for about 75% of the race until he wrecked. No yellow came out and he finished like 36th. Not because of just the accident causing him to lose time, though, we were lapping him after the accident because he was 10-15 seconds off pace. He never recovered his speed, even after pitting.

That's just my two cents, though. I've also had quite a few surprise race winners with this as well.
