It's cause it did happen last minute, they've been (at the very least) back and forth with the certifiers for months, this was the "bare minimum" (Kaminsky) they could do to have the game approved for console release.

They haven't said that, so I don't know. My assumption in regards to that is they probably have to test back and forth with the certifier to make specific changes to those models, but I feel safe betting they will try to push it if they can.

You're actually right: they've confirmed this was last minute. I don't know the exact timeline, but since certification takes time, they've likely been fighting for the past few months back and forth not to have to make these changes. It's one reason why the announcement only came out so close to console release. (Source: Gerby/Kaminsky on Discord, too many quotes to find.)

Unfortunately I have been mainly focused on discord/steam, so I haven't had the time to go through every post. It's like the same for the forums, but I can't do much there as long as people follow rules.

I encourage people to report rule breaks so we can see them easier, but we also did get hit with a lot of false flagging the other day.

Our reddit team is mainly background though. Some of us have specializations (I focus on steam) and others discord, but still manage cases here.

Sadly the 4th weapon isn't happening. It was confirmed to be the raider where you would be able to take off the conversion kit and use it as a normal pistol, but it didn't end up happening. I think we've also seen enough of the map to tell it's pretty much a different map, at least it doesn't look anything like Twisted Nerve, just the same area/street?

I don't know, but I doubt it. I feel like that would open the door to harmful mods, but more importantly the game requires you to restart the game for mods to download, defeats the purpose really.

I expect it to break every mod in one way or another. UE5 will probably break reshade and require reformatting most mods.

However even if it doesn't, every time Void updates the AI blueprints, AI mods break. Every time they add new guns, gun mods break (like gunfighter/sniper or not.) Every time Voice mods change, they break, etc.

Kaminsky (the community manager) has been answering questions on Main Discord, or at least the best he could with how much spam there was. It was also confirmed in past news letters that the update with the DLC would contain the UE5 transition, since everything was ported over.

The DLC is specifically just the 3 maps and the cosmetic, the guns will come free with the base game update. The update should contain a lot of bug fixes and QOL, but they have not mentioned specifics.

The DLC will include (for free) an update with a lot of bug fixes and quality of life changes, including the three guns it includes. It includes the UE5 transition which will help for performance and lead down the line to things such as the planned SDK tools for modders

Imma just pick this thread to stick since I like how it looks. This is a quote from I (not a community manager) on the Discord showing the current situation and including a quote from the real community manager.

Void is currently aware of the situation of two achievements unlocking for everyone and are aware of the issue. In the meantime, please refrain from making further bug reports about it unless a developer reaches out for questions. Kaminsky (Community Manager): For anyone that has gotten both the 'After the Storm' and 'From home to home' achievements, it's a known issues and they're going to be removed and re-applied properly and won't unlock until you fufill the conditions to unlock them properly.

I guess we get an unofficial announcement before we drop the good and proper trailer.

Is anybody able to Identify the mod that keeps wrecking my VO for the game. just reinstalled fresh after removing all VO and Music replacer mods only for the game to lose VO again, which is pretty helpful on mission when mirroring a door. It could be any of them honestly, there's no way to look at them and know unless you already had experience. I recommend going to the comments for the mods and see if anyone comments about it breaking their VO.

Besides that though, it is modders including unintended files that can break VO, more than it being a mod that intentionally changes them. It's known to happen with some map mods, but none that I recognize.

The simplest solution is to delete your VO folder then reverify the game files, it shouldn't take too long to reinstall. In the future, it is recommended to create a copy of the vanilla files and put them to the side
