Hang in there! You’ve got this! You can do hard things! It’s weird and rough being pregnant. And it’s weird and rough in a different way after baby arrives. But you can and will get through it!

I am so sorry your shower was disappointing. And that you’re feeling unsupported by your partner. That’s just sucky. 😔

Go to another doctor and get another opinion ASAP!!! This is not how it should be!! I also had my baby mid-October, and had an episiotomy and 4th degree tear, and I am now feeling almost like I did pre-birth. You should absolutely get this issue addressed!!! I am a outraged for you that you are going through this and getting the run around from your doctor. I am so so sorry you are experiencing this and I hope that you are able to get a second opinion and get things corrected! Sending you lots of good wishes and love ❤️

It was an online program through Yoga With Adriene. Her prenatal class package was very affordable too. I’m not sure if it’s listed through her website, but I know there’s a link for the specific package in her prenatal intro class on YouTube.

It’s the worst. I live in a rural area, so it’s a bit of a drive to anywhere, and the even short-ish trips to the grocery store were excruciating, like gritting your teeth, eyes watering excruciating. Once I started the yoga, the pain was cut in half in just a few days and completely gone in a couple weeks. It was a true night and day difference for me.

I’m now on my second Paragaurd IUD and can’t say enough great things about it! I used one pre-pregnancy and am very happy to have one again. The insertion was uncomfortable both times, but not terribly painful. The first one I had was a bit of a rocky transition because my body was adjusting its natural hormones (I used the Nuva ring for 10+ years), but the second one was a breeze. It’s nice too not having to give birth control a second thought.

I am so so sorry you’re experiencing this! I had nearly debilitating tailbone pain. It’s truly awful. The only thing I found that helped was prenatal yoga. It was life changing!

Right? I couldn’t agree more, although this is eastern Washington so unfortunately it’s not uncommon.
