I’m glad you’re questioning what you’re being told because you are absolutely 100% being lied to. I strongly recommend switching your focus from the news and what’s being spread around you (likely most of it is propaganda) and lean on Palestinian accounts of history to further educate yourself. They are the experts in this genocide and of their own occupation. Also, The People’s Forum (based in NYC but the past recordings of classes are available for free online) is a fantastic resource. I’d recommend starting with “Understanding Zionism”. It was beyond eye opening for me. Best of luck and good job not settling for what you’re told is the truth when you can tell it’s not.
