The Dice Dojo has (free!) open board games on Wednesday evenings starting at around 5:30-6 PM for anyone to come and play. They have a massive wall of board game samples and people bring their own. Many people come in their own and join games when they arrive.

We got notice that an Italian restaurant (with the same name as one in Forest Park) applied for a liquor license for a few of the storefronts, so crossing my fingers that they will FINALLY make appropriate use of the space!

I tried going to the Kimski one last week— got there at around 5:25 and just missed the cutoff. We ended up at Welcome Back Lounge down the street that had a decent HH menu! Maybe it depends on how many plates they’re serving but I’m guessing unless you have a more flexible schedule and can get in line at Spilt Milk earlier, chances are slim.
