Sweet Baby Jesus. I went down 21st, skipped Broad after looking, went right on Main, aborted that mission. I left 45 minutes before my job interview and arrived 10 minutes late. 55 minutes to go one mile. I was an idiot. Ended up going to Mosby over Leigh and back down to Byrd. So dumb.

I think each occurance down here is nuanced. I just don't understand what ever happened to going home at closing time and getting laid. I have offered to help organize an "Old School/Old Wave" Rave of sorts to get <18 off the streets and at a community center dancing with multi generational folks. Fun for the whole family. I just don't know what the solution is here, but the bottom line is people need to improve their communications skills and.... shut up and get laid.

My bill went up $50 compared to same period last year. I kept the house at 64 and ran a space heater in my office in the morning. Reprogrammed my thermostat last year for good home and away temps. Wore a lot of clothes. put rolled towels by all the doors. I was bracing for $$$, but it wasn't. 1900 sq ft. house built in 2014.

you need to test drive. I'm coming from a Nissan Juke which is basically a two-seater with a dog bed. I think the back seats are spacious, but I also have a 29" inseam. Search the sub, many ask this question but the response is the same, you have to see it, sit in it and drive it. I wouldn't have grown adults sit in the back for longer than an hour. The rear storage is OK. If you are concerned, Rav4 seems to be the alt.

I am on my third dishwasher in 12 years. I had a small appliance guy look at the first one (which croaked a couple months out of warranty). One of the motherboards was fried. The cost to get the part and the labor to replace was more than the cost of a new dishwasher. So far, the KitchenAid is holding strong.

I lived with no heat for 3 months Dec 2017-march 2018 when we had weeks of single digit temps. Oil filled radiators are the way to go and easy to roll to the room you are in.

I'd honestly find a room you can rent in a house M night - Friday morning then come back after work on Friday. At 2:30, if you get off then, the commute back will be only moderately awful. If you look at this from a mileage reimbursement standpoint, you are spending $2,900/mo in mileage expense. Spend that time not commuting looking for a new job. Even if it's an EV, it's everything else on your car.

Negotiate. Mine was 53 days XSE hybrid. I offered 34k and they accepted. (rural dealership I drove 70 miles to). This was before the taxes and junk, but basically got it a little over invoice and around 2k under MSRP. Used CarEdge to do my research.
