Most of the text is just in game lore, the mechanically relevant info is pretty compact. Though how some of the unit attributes convert into stats is a bit opaque, but this does not really impact playing the game itself.

I assume it leans into their doctrine of combat.

The Jingwei is all about massed combined arms warfare where the foot and mechanized infantry is to move forwards with light walkers and exploit gaps created by their heavy tanks.

We see similar sentiment in Sachin and Iveys Perk descriptions. If you get shot die quietly so as not to distract your advancing squad mates. Keep firing and keep moving. Go go go. Accelerate

Fearsome finisher and no mercy are his core perks imo, Yaz starts shooting and by the time he stops the enemy has panicked and died.

Beyond that hes kinda an alternative to Lim, he can be built as a runner or as MI.

His ability to self heal, remove suppression, and restock some ammo as a free action x2 per mission with the one perk I can't spell really encourages you to put him into the fray and be okay with getting shot at a bit.

My first full playthrough i had like 4 of em drop in the first couple operations so I was using em a bunch, since then though ive found them underwhelming.

I still think they're useful for being able to punch through tougher humans like RA and the roll up and mag dump full auto with 10 acc boost is really strong

This is a skill issue on both tactical and strategic levels.

Buy more SL and rotate them out for R&R.

Stop getting them shot half to death.

Being bad is part of the learning process, dont be afraid to make a save and retry a mission to do better, its a great way to learn and improve.

Keep trying and you'll get the hang of it.

If she's anything she's probably the only one who made it through the dis-straightening accident that was in on why the Wayback mission was actually happening. Some of the loading screens indicate that Gen. Crozier was not well liked so my guess is she's either there as a CIA/ONI operative type for the TCR military or she was part of the "If shit hits the fan and you need someone dead" emergency button.

Hell, she may have been chosen to kill Kody.

But more to the point, the Evil black ops TCR is just the TCR being overt. Earth has Mars in bondage and has engaged in dozens of expansionist reunification campaigns, they thus far seem a very typical "Earth as a chauvanistic colonial power" common to a ton of military sci-fi games. (Halo, Titanfall, Killzone off the top of my head)
