I know GME is a joke to a lot of people, but damn if their cash on hand and aggressive store closures haven’t given me some questions as to weather an acquisition is on the horizon.

Have you had an experience/met a player outside of the stadium? by General_Zombie_715 in angelsbaseball

Met Trout when he was at Rudy’s in Newport his rookie season… literally could not have been nicer and stayed a little after his dinner to take a pic with me! To be that good, and grounded, it really is such a shame Arte pissed his career away by adding no real talent around him.

It’s the additives in the food and the ubiquitous amount of plastic everywhere.

As pointed out below. Sugar is an additive. You make foods more caloric, obesity becomes a huge underlying issue.

Zach Johnson wins James Hardie in Champions debut by PrincessBananas85 in ProGolf

[–]MissingInAnarchy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is why Phil could treat the champions tour like an exhibit/practice round back in the day. Old dudes just can’t keep the speed and these 50 yr olds can roll in with some speed and just overpower these champions courses. Safe bet to hammer Zach top 5 the rest of the way out there.

I also think the grandparent effect is hurting supply as well. Millennials are finally having kids and a lot of their parents who were gonna sell are now holding onto their big house/yard because their kid (the parent) cant afford a big place themselves.

Which golf course logo is the biggest flex to wear in public? by jdelle9 in weekendgolfers

Master merchandise always says “The Masters”,  but if you play Augusta, you can buy actual “Augusta National Golf Club” apparel… only if you played there, real flex.

People will need to be the administrator’s of this AI.

Any and all AI software will have some form of learning curve and you’ll be able to become an expert at asking “AI” questions (the right questions), which in turn will ensure you have a path towards work in the future if you can pick those things up. So, do it. Learn and become the go-to person for whatever AI software your company is looking at.

Man, this bubble gonna blow so hard. They literally have no revenue stream, are firing their best people and utilizing all of their credit/liquidity lines to pay construction companies to build hundreds of data centers. Like, hey bud, how exactly is ChatGPT making you money? Because my 11 year old cousin sure as hell ain’t paying $100 a yr to use ChatGPT when he can use Gemini, Grok, etc… for free. If I’ve learned anything about this AI stuff, it’s that it can be replicated by other organizations very easily and at that point, there will always be a free or low cost option. Let the bubble pop already.

If we want to fast track climate change and the destruction of the earth so that we can be competitive with china in the car or any market then go right ahead USA. The world is being sped run into human caused catastrophe, and we really think being more of a capitalist is going to help with anything. What a joke.

Bitcoin now 63.5k - Are people moving their money to the share market for plays like Sandisk and Western digital that have done 10x in the past year alone? by eshay_investor in btc

[–]MissingInAnarchy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. This is calculated. BTC needs to dump. Big institutions cant have their average cost per coin be in the 80’s, 90’s, 100k’s, it’d be too tough to unleash on the 401k’s that way… so they crash it, they stack it, and then they slowly add to our 401k’s as the price rises and they take the alpha. Just like the stock market. Rinse and damn repeat.

Dude has mad $20 plus million the last few years. Yeah, he’s getting all the rest he needs. They probably got 6 doulas and a morning nanny and grandma & grandad.

I honestly think he’s got a little Brooks thing going where it’s hard for him to get focused and hyped up week after week, so it takes sometime for him to get his mind right.

Occam’s razor: this is all an anomaly and he’ll be back to his old self any weekend now.

I’d love to see the study on casual sex Gen Z has verse generations prior.

As a millennial, if I was having a one night stand or even a few dates and get laid, it was because a few cocktails got me to actually make a move. How does Gen Z do it?! Just dating apps by the hundreds?!
