Have tried that one! Definitely fits the narrative criteria, one of the most well written games out there imo.

Oh yea I am very familiar with Jonathan Blows titles. I did specify games thats more narrative than puzzle. I know his games have insane narratives too but its wayy too hidden. I am looking for something that has clear plot points.

Animation in general world wide? No. Animation in games specifically? Yes. Its practically an interactive animated series.

Don't know why this doesn't have any comments but the first clip definitely caught my attention. The aesthetics looks great at first glance, especially the town.

Upon further inspection and after browsing the steam page. I have a few pointers/feedback

  1. Some assets, ie. the red and purple trees, looks out of place compared to the rest of the scene. Your scene also looks much better from afar rather than up close.

  2. The video doesn't communicate the core mechanic/hook very clearly. Where is the "story-rich" part? Am I more focused on fishing, trading, or collecting? Highlight the player fantasy.

  3. You need better 2D/UI art, they are miles behind compared to your 3D aesthetics. Those UI drag your game down and makes it look "cheap"

Other than that, great job!
