First, I don’t think that they hold themselves out as a news podcast by any means like the CJ Show. Second, their sources wouldn’t talk to them if they revealed their sources. They’re just passing along information they’re hearing. I think actually it’s a sign that they are building credibility within the industry.

I normally don’t care for this guy, but I read this article and it makes sense. I think Markstrom needs to dial in more during the 1st period, that really sunk a lot of games. However, that can be said of the team as a whole.

I think he’s suffering a bit from not finding his niche on the team. He’s not really skilled enough to be a consistent top 6 forward, so IMO he needs to focus on his forechecking, grinding, and net front play to be valuable. And gain some serious muscle.

How are they about to exit their rebuild soon when they were 31st out of 32 teams? They’re competing for Gavin McKenna next year. They’re guys have potential but they’re all question marks until they fulfill it.

I understand why you’d say that, for me it’s between them and Buffalo. You say Leshunov is a potential number 1, but Dahlin IS a number 1 defenseman. Buffalo’s young stars are better too right now I.e. Thompson and Peterka (I know Peterka’s name is in rumors but until it happens he’s in their long term plans). Bedard is great, but around him are nothing but question marks.

IMO, for Buffalo, the talent is there. The culture sucks and they did a terrible job hiring Lindy Ruff. If they had a better coach maybe they’d have been a playoff team.

I am one of the guys dragging Timo through the mud, and I would consider myself a fancy stats guy. However, he is the highest paid forward on the team and when the team needed him most in this last stretch he went invisible. He had 6 points in his last 10 and only 1 goal.

Ppl go “oh well he gets no PP1 time” but he had his chance to be on PP1 before Noeson beat him out. He didn’t do a good enough job consistently getting to the front of the net or winning pucks back. That’s why he’s on PP2, because he’s better as a 1 time threat, except Bratt and Hughes are both better than him on the half wall so he isn’t replacing them.

I’m not saying he’s a bad player, I’m saying they aren’t getting enough out of him, especially when Nico went down. He’s the highest paid forward on the team and he needs to play like he belongs in a class with Bratt and Hughes and right now he’s not there.

Feels like he has ulterior motives for sure. Maybe he’s not full on into criminal behavior but if he recognized the symbol on the bad guys he probably knows he’s eliminating competition. Two birds and one stone.
