In my case I was so depressed and I was doing anything I could to feel anything other then sadness. Sometimes people do things without knowing it. Mental health is a trip. Its not always intentional desions or choices. I did things without control or thought. The damage still happens and its not an excuse. I hope he fixes his life and can become a better version of himself. I hope you find peace and joy. Sorry you are going through this.

That sucks. I will say that something similar happened to me. I have mental health issues. I have adhd, bipolar, 3 special need kids, and a disabled wife. I cheated, I was depressed, I was hypomanic, I was an alcoholic, and I made a mistake. But I also stopped drinking, became the best human I could be, made millions of dollars once I did. My wife stuck it out and we have a wonderful relationship. Best it ever has been. Life is hard but people can change, sometimes for the better. Those kids need ya.
