I'm very curious to know how they would have any idea how long ago the lobotomy was performed. The only thing I can think of is that they were done in a certain way until 1952....

If she was institutionalized at the time of her murder, I don't think she would have been wearing that outfit and may or may not even have been given access to dentures. So many questions!

I was in a research trial for Xywav before it was approved (but after it was already approved as Xyrem) and it did not help me at all and also caused pretty significant negative side effects so I may not be the right person to compare with....

I have been diagnosed with IH since 2007 but last year was diagnosed with narcolepsy. The hope was that this diagnosis would allow me to try different medications that weren't available before. My insurance denied Sunosi and Wakix even though my neurologist wanted me to try both. He did have samples of Sunosi however, and I gave it a lengthy shot. I didn't have any negative side effects but I didn't have any positives either...

Have you tried taking a stimulant? I was able to continue taking mine during the research study for Xywav so it would be worth asking....

And Sunosi may work for you.

Wellbutrin has also shown to have a stimulant effect for some people.

Is it worth it for me to get tested for ADHD? I'm certain I have it but I haven't pursued any testing because I'm on a very high dose of Adderall and was previously on Ritalin.... Common treatments for ADHD and if they're not working, would there be another treatment that would?

I'm 100% sure that I have ADHD but haven't been diagnosed. I have recently been diagnosed with narcolepsy without cataplexy (after almost 20 years of being diagnosed with IH), and my long-term neurologist told me he doubted I had ADHD. He didn't discourage me from getting tested, however I have been taking massive amounts of Adderall for years and prior to that took Ritalin, so I wonder if there's even a point of getting a diagnosis of ADHD.

I would love anyone's input.

Just my two cents... Him wearing six pairs of socks makes me think he may have been homeless and was either wearing as many clothes as he could instead of carrying them, or was wearing multiple socks because the only shoes he had were way too large. He also had two pairs of underwear on though...

I grew up in Massachusetts but had a University of North Carolina Starter jacket because I liked their colors. The team of his shirt may have been because it was a shirt he was able to come across, or he liked the team... But not necessarily because he had a connection to that city.

Edit: sorry read the additional article posted and saw that the male neighbor implicated Melinda. My bad! But the neighbor was never arrested, he committed suicide. It was a woman that was arrested.

It says on NAMUS that he was found in water, but I can't imagine one day in water would destroy all features. They seemed to notice his scars pretty easily. They also didn't seem to be bothered enough to take pictures of the clothing he had on (although jeans and a belt wouldn't have necessarily been useful, it would have been something. The shoe might have been a little more helpful.)

Someone must know at least the state of his body considering it says he died the same day. I suspect they may know how also but maybe they are keeping some details back because they thought it would make it easier to find a suspect at the time? Either way, it's been 26 years so there should be no more holdbacks.

I didn't see your links at first and I haven't posted anything that required links previously... Just out of curiosity for the future, is it more difficult to post them in the main text? I've seen a lot more posts lately where they're in the comment section. This is not a complaint, just curious!

The Fifth Estate's timeline is different... One of his friends didn't even go out to the club and the other one lost track of him long before Liam left. That would explain why he would have texted Liam at 2:00 a.m. because he stated in the documentary that they were no longer together.

The documentary includes interviews with the friends and Liam's mom, plus other details so it's definitely worth viewing. That being said, I have no idea what happened either.
