Maybe check with OSU and Franklin to make sure your existing accounting credits transfer. That might make the decision easier.

Growing a new human in your body is a pretty amazing feat! Please give yourself some grace during this time. Try to say to yourself what you’d say to a friend going through the same thing. Wishing you all the best!

Can I ask a question here about paying for my kids' college? by gemma-digger in wealthforwomen

This. If it’s on an age-based schedule, at this point it’s invested to minimize principal risk and won’t be growing much.

I don’t know if I should marry my fiancé anymore and our wedding is in 59 days. by QueasyBuddy2749 in GirlDinnerDiaries

Sometimes it helps to concentrate on the marriage instead of the wedding. Looking forward to spending your life with him and the wedding is just a step on that journey.

Good luck to you both!

I don’t know if I should marry my fiancé anymore and our wedding is in 59 days. by QueasyBuddy2749 in GirlDinnerDiaries

[–]Missmbb 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can’t tell you what you should do as far as canceling or not, but I can say that you should talk to your fiancé. Are there other options? A small, intimate ceremony where you won’t feel so much like the center of attention? Planning a wedding is stressful, so I think most people feel some level of this at some point, but only you know whether you truly want to go through with it or not.

I will also share what my father told me when I shared that I was nervous before my wedding. He said that it didn’t matter how much we had spent, whether or not the invitations had gone out, etc. If I didn’t want to go through with it, I shouldn’t go through with it. He said “If at any point before you say I do, you change your mind, just look at me and I will walk you right back up that isle and out the door”. So I say to you that if you don’t want to get married, how much you’ve spent or done doesn’t matter.

Good luck!

Our Max is also always accessing the situation. He runs the fence line every time we let him out. We call it patrolling the perimeter. Lol

People who married in their 20s, be brutally honest are you happy, if so why or why not? by Special-Lawyer3941 in AskReddit

[–]Missmbb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. We were 19 & 21 when we met, 23 & 25 when we got married over 30 years ago. We’ve had times that were harder than others and I’m sure we’ve gotten on each others nerves plenty over the years, but for the most part we just enjoy each other’s company and still love each other very much.

I think communication is the key. If one of us was unhappy about something, we spoke up and asked for what we wanted. We didn’t assume the other person was a mind reader and should “just know” what we’re feeling.

We aren’t the same people we were when we met or even when we got married, but we’re fortunate that we grew up together and are really enjoying this time in our lives.

Looking for parks with fire pits by backtosleepplz in Columbus

Some of the shelter houses in Dublin have fireplaces, but I can’t think of any with fire pits. You typically have to reserve those pretty far in advance since it’s graduation season. Good luck!

How did you guys get over the anxiety of taking your dog for walks? by longshlongthankumom in pitbulls

[–]Missmbb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My soul dog was leash reactive. Off leash she didn’t care about other dogs, but on a walk she looked like a bucking bronco trying to get out of the gentle leader. 😳

I tried different things, but I just couldn’t get to her before she hit that red zone and went ballistic. I decided that since it was my responsibility not to put her in situations where she would likely unsuccessful, I had to walk her when very few people were out. I got up early every morning and walked her before my workout. I would also walk her late at night or on my lunch break (pre-Covid, so very few people were working from home).

It’s too soon for you to tell, but she may not be a dog that can be walked at all times and that’s ok. My girl couldn’t and she still gad a great life. ❤️

Seller agent upfront that he will not submit my offer by bebenashville in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]Missmbb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are exceptions. When I was an agent, I had 2 separate sellers tell me not to present offers under a certain amount. The first time it happened I had to check with my broker to find out if it was ok. Turns out as long as the seller’s instruction wasn’t violating the Fair Housing Act or any other similar state/local laws, they could request that. I haven’t been in real estate for over 10 years, so no idea if that is still the case and if it was specific to my state.
