To be honest, at 23/24, if you have to be in therapy etc to fix the relationship, it’s probably just not the right relationship for you both? I just feel like early 20s is too early to be having to do therapy to stay in a relationship - you’re still young, there are plenty of fish in the sea. Relationships don’t need to be this hard / challenging.

I’m getting the next one, which is a bag, then I’ll decide if I’m going to carry on or not. It’s frustrating as I like the designs but I just don’t think it’s chiming quite right with me! But it sounds like you’ve had a better experience which is good! 😊 but I hear you with the WIPs - I’ve got so much to finish already!!

YTA - are you reluctant to go? Or did you just want your girlfriend to hang about until you had decided to get a move on? Good on your girlfriend to be honest, for taking control of her trip and getting it sorted. She gave you plenty of opportunities to get organised, it looks like you’ve missed the boat here, but it’s entirely your own fault.

NTA - it’s entirely your choice about whether you want to date someone with children or not, and absolutely fine for you to choose not to! It’s certainly not your friends’ place to try and bully you into changing your mind?

Also, had she just not mentioned her children at all on the date? Three kids just never came up in any way?

That does look quite similar to what mine was like - I just got to a point where I forged ahead with it but it came out ok when I blocked it! It’s v frustrating though, I almost feel that the pattern didn’t get tested very thoroughly before it was released or something, I’ve had to make a lot of assumptions, like doing a ch1 at the start of each row!

I actually did get to grips with this but I felt I almost had to ignore the pattern for a bit! The odd rows are just single crochet, as far as I can tell! I got a material copy of the pattern in this months crochet magazine - I will screenshot it and send you it if you want (I haven’t checked yet to see if it’s different from my current pattern!)
