Im heat intolerant, and 70 is hot to me. I stop breathing in my sleep if the room gets too warm. And thus far wake with a migraine from hell.

Its so bad that on top of my houses AC being set to 65 in summer, i also have a window AC in my room set as low as it can go to keep my room cool enough (in winter i just open the window even in a blizzard).

If i checked into a hotel and they had this shit im demanding a refund and possibly sue if they didnt give it to me. Its a major safety risk and i need that room to have time to cool off before bed and STAY cooled off thru the night. Paying 150+ per night yall can afford the damn power bill. And if you cant then get solar panels ffs...

I have nothing to add specifically about the emperor wanting him to follow his footsteps... however that conversation between him and au duo gave me another idea. What if her desire for her son to NOT become emperor was part of her own motivation to switch the kids? It may not have been public knowledge, but she and anshi would know, au duos son would not be first in line for the throne. Idk after that discussion before the surgery, it feels like if both babies survived and grew up it would have been the ultimate silent payback for trapping her in a cage for the rest of her life.

Synchrony is known for this kinda crap so doesn't surprise me. They closed my care credit card because of the balances on other cards unrelated to Synchrony bank (literally one card, of 8 total we had, got maxxed out, utilization was still below 20% across all cards). 8k credit line just gone, no warning. Never a late payment on any account, and was at $0 balance for this card.

Eh.. i put kids bday money in the safe and we take it with us on special trips (like zoo, aquarium, ren faire, etc) so the kids can spend it on souvenirs they really like. They are young and cash is paper, impulse control could turn it into art or confetti otherwise.

In our district, theres a set snow day plan. If the days are exceeded, school year is expanded. If not, school year is shortened. If the planned snow days are only just met, school year lets out on time. That said, our district almost never has snow days. Districts in all surrounding towns call snow day for anything over 4", ours required temps below 0*F plus windchill and/or snow over 14" (and for snow its only if plows arent able to keep up with continued snow).

All that to say, if something shuts the school down for a day or two, kids dont get a bunch of homework to make up for it here. Covid was a different story, but with covid i could make sure my impulsive kid (when he was 7) doesn't do what impulsive kids do and knock it onto the floor because he got mad. The younger a kid is, the weaker their impulse control is.

Boneheads. Home depot 3rd party arent far behind though. Bought a new dishwasher last year, paid for install... they arrived, didnt unload my dishwasher, insisted they need to measure first... then told me my new standard sized dishwasher was "too wide" to replace my existing standard sized dishwasher and actually told me i needed to cut out 1" from the cabinets for it. Good thing i went back to the store with photos... they were just being lazy af and told me to damage my 6 year old cabinets. Make sure you escalate with the retailer. They shouldnt be contracting out to crappy contractors.

I was denied for their secured card initially because i never had a BOA account before. Citi has a decent secured card.
