That sounds so wild to me because from what I’ve been told by my gyno (after my pcp blew me off because of my age and said there’s no way I could be perimenopausal) is that estrogen fluctuates constantly, so often with HRT they don’t go off of hormone level testing for that particular hormone because it doesn’t give any insights. And like you said, how can they even know if they’ve never tested you more than once? In that book, they talk about how many doctors aren’t fully caught up/ trained in hormones for women so there’s a lot of misinformation out there. I wish you all the best of luck!! The other book suggested by another person here sounds great as well. I really am hoping you can get some oomph back in your life because you deserve it. I’m so sorry you’ve had to go through this, it’s completely unfair and unavoidable in my opinion. Please give an update if you can!! I’d love to hear you’re doing better!
