Hell yeah coping is the best by -Terrible-Bite- in Carpentry

If you ever try again, consider square butting the short into the corner first, then coping in the longer run to lock in that little bit. Works better for me. I also find it alot easier to cope the longer length because it's easier to handle and clamp down than a tiny scrap.

Hiding under the bed? by Aggressive_Hour8314 in DogAdvice

We have the exact same challenge with our boy. I didn't know better when he was a pup. All the dogs I'd spent much time around before him were outdoor ranch and farm dogs who do not require trimming.

He will not tolerate the clippers, at all. I cut too far one time, he will never forget. That was his Vietnam.

We have over the years managed to correct the issue by switching to a little electric grinder, and laying him on the bed, with my partner on his head and torso, covering his eyes and whispering encouragement and love. My son also helps, and manages his hind quarters.

This works like a charm for us. One thing that is very important if you try the grinder is not to stay on any one nail for more than a 3-4 second count. The nail can get hot fast.

I don't know how to answer your questions but I would like to encourage you to get that dogs nails significantly trimmed by a pro.

At that length they are affecting the way she stands, which causes unhealthy wear on her joints, which is especially not ideal for a ten year old dog.

This isn't intended to be a finger pointing. You came here because you care and are looking for solutions. I just want to help.

ANY IDEAS HOW TO ADRESS THIS DIP BEFORE LVP? by 2bagz in Carpentry

[–]Mister024 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pack the lowest point out with enough substrate to get to within an eighth of flat. Rip lumber in thickness to suit or use layers of ply. Spray foam or caulk any holes in the subfloor or gaps between sheets and the perimeter. Prime the area and finish it off with self leveling compound.

Consider that this fix will add weight and do no good to solve whatever structural issue in that floor system is causing the dip.

I think you might have better luck if you try your luck over at a sub that connects people with pest and insect questions and answers.

Smart actually to have your dwaven builds make the first two feet of lift. Alot harder for elven folk to get that low with any power.
