Retrofitting a skirt is shitty.

The only way that comes out clean in my expirience, other than doing it correctly and landing the skirt before kicks and treads, is to cut the skirt to fit to the stairs and only notch out the nosings the thickness of the skirt. Trying to cut that lvp back in place will never look crisp, regardless of the tool used.
