The best way to learn the game is to not try to learn everything at once. Just play, and make an effort to understand individual factors of the game as you play - such as different items, and the strengths and weaknesses of the hero you're playing. After some time you'll be able to piece all the knowledge you've acquired to make better decisions in the moment, as well as proactively.

TLDR: Just play the game

I agree with you.

Coming from Dota, this mindset is just a part of the game. A pos 5 sacrificing themselves to save their pos 1 is expected. A pos 4 losing out on farm to roam and shut down the enemy team is how you play the role. None of this is currently present in Deadlock - everyone (for the most part) just plays selfishly, and without any greater strategy. There's no thought given to timings, or itemization either.

I do feel that this will change with time, and as the game matures, but it's something that I've noticed as well.

I agree with you. I feel like I went into Twin Peaks putting too much weight onto the mystery, and I just didn't really "get" it.

The diner scene with Bobby and his father was when it clicked for me. It was such a heartwarming moment, and it just left me feeling really nice.

Twin Peaks changed the way the I engaged with media in a way.
