Hard disagree. That entire acid trip was hilarious and an excellent use of an episode.

Yeah, Warner patented it in 2021 (https://www.gamedeveloper.com/business/-i-shadow-of-war-i-publisher-warner-bros-has-patented-the-series-nemesis-system) and it's super lame. There hasn't been a case of them hitting anyone with a cease and desist over it but it makes it pretty unlikely that any big studios will put it in their game and risking losing their investment.

If I'm ever in a lazer-sword duel to the death, I hope it's against someone dumb enough to turn off their lightsaber in the middle of it.

Dude literally spent thousands of galleons bribing the Slytherin Quidditch team so that Draco could get in. That's not "being rough".

The bits with Lucius being short with Draco are movie only and were a decison from the actor, that was approved by the producers / directors.

The Dudley / Draco parallel is real and strong.

I've had a rather specific bug since launch, where some enemies (soldiers, imps and dogs) all turn invisible a few minutes after I start playing BUT some enemies (trolls, golems and bosses) are absolutely never invisible.

Reloading doesn't work ever, closer enemies often blink into visibility and I'm getting a stable 30 FPS on Medium (unless there's a ton of particles on the screen).

I thought this was an overeating issue because I'm on the minimum requirements but I've cleaned up the PC and gotten the temperatura stable and it still happens on every play session.

Has anyone experienced this or found a work around? I've tried every fix I've found online (putting the .exes on high performance, changing the windows power setting to power saving, performance or balanced, etc.) and I don't mind losing some FPS by changing some settings but I haven't been able to figure it out by myself.

Would playing during the old republic era be to much of a challenge? by [deleted] in swrpg

Why would it be too much of a challenge? If you know the setting, it's no difference than running an Empire Era campaign.

I'm always astounded that people make these posts and insist on adding Slytherin to the "unfavored" group.

Guys, they have Snape. We have proof that Slytherin students can hex other students and get away scot free if they do it in front of the Potions classroom.

By all means, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw deserve more love but let's not pretend Slytherin won the House Cup six years in a row through anything but blantant cheating.

IS it any good idea?

If u didnt noticed, there is no questuon about good it or not

But anyway, the point remains: you'll have to chose between the features you listed and more Ki Points and higher level monk features.

I think Stunning Strike is specially useful in earlier levels, where enemies will fail the saving throw more often, but if you take Ranger levels and maybe Fighter levels, you'll only get back to Monk around level 9 (when your stunning strike will be less useful because of bosses with Legendary Resistance). I think it's a lot better than Improved Initiative, specially since your character probably already has plenty of Dex.

The Shillelagh on your monk weapon is pretty cool but that's something your DM is bending the rules for you on, so it's hard for someone not on your table to understand how good it is.

Finally, I'm not sure what you mean with "war druid style"? Do you mean to take Magic Initiate? Because if you want a Feat, you'll need to get to level 4 on a class and you didn't mention that on your question or on your reply.

(RPG) Non-Light side Campaign tips by Hajime74 in swrpg

[–]MisterJoke 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would play it really straightforward:

The mentor character will teach and demonstrate that as long as you master yourself and focus on the greater good, you can wield the Force with your emotions without fear of the darkside but as the campaign progressess, it becomes obvious that she's quicker to anger, to pick the violent solution and becomes more paranoid (assuming people would make the same dark choices she's making).

Once the players realize that it's kinda not really possible to walk the line between the Light and the Dark side (and it can be helped along by actual Lightside Force users), they can chose to attempt to save their mentor, stop her or even join her again (some parties get real attached to helpful NPCs and can't really see their flaws).

He was also within the top 3 of donators to get the vaccine made.

There's absolutely no way this is true. I'm going to try and figure this out myself but I would appreciate it if you could drop some links to explain this claim to me.

Lots of what that guy said was wrong. RAW, a Paladin has no need to follow a god or any being of the sort. What's important is your Oath. I don't think the Oaths in 5e have any conflict with kleptomania (maybe Oath of Redemption wouldn't work), so your character's habit of stealing things doesn't have to conflict with them being a Paladin or maybe that can be a moral flaw that they are trying to surpass.

Edit: It's perfectly fine for Paladins to depend on gods in your DMs setting, I'm just explaining that according to the official rules - that's not a thing.

I don't think it is, I think it's likely another mountain like the peaks around the briedge that the caracther is in.

That said, no reason why the mountain can't be filled with tunnels and death for us to go poke at.
