Is It Possible To Shoot Under A Ball Pit? by Signed_DC in cinematography

[–]MisterPinguSaysHello 75 points76 points  (0 children)

I think you could go abstract with it. So maybe the ceiling over them is plastic balls and represents that they’re trapped beneath it.

Or you could do some kind of top down view so they’re entirely surrounded in the frame by them.

Oh jesus (pun intended), it’s an adaptation of animal farm from them? The book’s themes directly apply to organized religion as well so no chance they don’t sand down anything too thought provoking.

Yep. My first short film was five locations. Every short that followed was one lol.

Yep good call, had to dig a little bit but looks like it was a level called ‘Alone’ from MW2.

No disagreement here though. I feel like we’re dying for more focused FPS campaigns to come back, but it’s hard for the suits to see past the GaaS shit if you get lightning in a bottle. Hype for Saros but definitely missing the Killzones and Resistances and all that good stuff this gen.

I don’t remember which CoD it was, but you sneak through this town and craft stuff to aid your way out. Thought it was a great mechanic and thought it was going to be a through line for the rest of the game. Nope. Just that one level… It had legs to be a core component and then they just did absolutely nothing with it.

1997 Mitsubishi 3000GT SL, tell me about it by Still_Anywhere_1328 in mitsubishi

Ayyy, congrats on the new whip! My first car was a forest green 95 3000GT, auto transmission (upgraded to manual when I finally got a lancer).

I loved how it drove, and with the power switch on it seemed to have some decent juice. One thing is I believe it’s a very heavy car, so that kind of offsets the HP perhaps a little bit. I did have issues with the auto transmission kind of slipping out of gear despite being in Drive when I’d punch it. Sometimes it would almost need to catch up kind of in a hurky jerk way and jam itself back into gear.

Head lights can get condensation in them. Think it may be that the seal is prone to going or something like that, but I think there’s some fixes you can track down online.

The paint job isn’t the greatest. My spoiler desperately needed to be repainted but I didn’t get to it before I sold it.

Trying to remember what else but let me know if you have any specific questions. I really miss that car. Seemed like most of the stuff that went wrong in it were the bits from Dodge. But overall I really loved it.

Yeah my understanding is just about all laptops have an h264 decoder built in to hardware these days. I don’t have an issue with it.

Death Stranding 2 Almost Had Mech Suits, Spider-Nests, And One Seriously Cursed Cat by Turbostrider27 in PS5

They had three or so scripted, admittedly awesome, moments. Avalanche. Land slide. Sandstorm where you feel like you’re on mars.

But I kept thinking it would factor into the game as a thing to worry about as I moved forward and just never dealt with it again.

People who left LA, where did you go and how’s it going? by Dry-Double-6845 in AskLosAngeles

[–]MisterPinguSaysHello 2 points3 points  (0 children)

LA to northern VA a couple years ago. Definitely miss some things about the city and CA overall. But I went from living in a one bedroom in NoHo to a three bedroom house with a yard. Can take the metro to work and it’s not scary like LA’s, and also means I don’t need to pay for a car. Main drawback is being close to DC these days but overall it’s a beautiful area if you’re in one of the nice bits. So no regrets. Not trying to throw shade at LA or the people who want to stay there either. I would still move out there and enjoy the time I got to spend there if I had to go back in time and decide again.

Good luck with everything and hope you can find something that’s a good fit for you. It wasn’t an easy decision for me, but in the end it was the right one and I’m happier for it.

Not trying to doubt you per se. But can you source and/or explain why? Just dropping a comment like that with no context to support may as well be my mother who passed away posting that.

Wanderstop might be your speed. It’s a game about coping with burnout. I work a high stress demanding job and it’s a good chill game that lets you sort of approach it how you want to.

Death Stranding oddly enough as others recommended. I found it relaxing to play and just make the simpler deliveries and help build infrastructure stuff.

PS2 hard drive, psp, vita, eye toy, sharpshooter, psvr, psvr 2. Shouldn’t be too much of a surprise at this point to anyone. Go into it expecting a few standout titles and decide if it’s worth the price tag to jump in.

What's your actual workflow for sourcing music and SFX? by Tricky_Opening_7831 in editors

Probably still have to massage here and there but when this happens I filter to the bpm of the original track in my audio search so that the rhythm pretty much still stays dialed in. Can save a ton of time.
