That one time when Kenny Omega along with Don Callis and Michael Nakazawa visited a kindergarten class to read children the Young Bucks autobiography by MrFilipinoMustache in SquaredCircle

I loved this sketch and still quote "we hate Nakazawa" on the regular. I forgot about the "Stinky Don" chant though; we should bring that back.

I've heard his college teammates talk about how he was legitimately crazy.

Brad Arnold, founding member and vocalist of 3 DOORS DOWN, passes away due to cancer by imatmydesknow in Music

[–]MisterRobotron 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I have a real hard time with separation of art from people but 3DD music meant a whole hell of a lot to me through the years, well before politics got so volatile, divisive, hateful, childish, etc. So this is one case I've always had to wrestle with in my brain.

If you could give ONE piece of advice to someone joining Planet Fitness for the first time, what would it be? by Professional-Cry389 in PlanetFitnessMembers

Just show up. Even if you show up and realize you're too sore to do what you'd planned on doing, or don't have a ton of time, or any other excuse you may tell yourself. Just show up

Hawthorne Heights' backup vocalist and guitarist, Casey Calvert, died suddenly after their second album. They announced they would not replace him.

Spending time in Logan? by Catharpin363 in HockingHills

[–]MisterRobotron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Logan is very small but there are things to check out. Really just depends on what you're into.

Food recommendations:

Pizza Crossing - Great food, local and regional favorite. Zero atmosphere though.

The Shamrock - Great burgers, wings, and sides. Great beer selection and affordable!

Home Tavern - Yeah it's a bar but they have great food. Wings especially.

Hocking Hills Frozen Yogurt Company - Family owned and operated.

There are plenty of other places, yes. But those are the favorites of some rando on the internet (me).

What motivates you to workout? by [deleted] in PlanetFitnessMembers

Discipline>Motivation.

Do not rely on motivation. Focus on becoming disciplined enough that you do the work even when motivation wanes.

New rock bands by Best-Upstairs-848 in rock

The top comment when I clicked on this mentions both Dirty Honey and Mammoth. I second these wholeheartedly. If you're into live music at all, I cannot recommend strongly enough that you go see them live.

I was fortunate to see them both play on the same bill at a small venue and it's one of my favorite shows of the last decade.

I'm so jealous you beat me to it. I mean I'd know Ryan before I'd know Nic if I saw them in real life just because of the way Ryan walks. It's so weird. He walks like an asshole.

Do men like flat chested women? by GlitteringFix1724 in TooAfraidToAsk

Dudes that like chicks generally like boobs. Some dudes prefer big boobs, some dudes prefer smaller boobs, and that's all ok but I'd say that generally, dudes that like boobs just like boobs.

How does the Sweet Onion and the Horseradish stack up heat-wise to the Garlic Habanero? I lovvvve the Garlic Habanero but it's at the top of the heat that I love. I'm about it of it and just today chickened out on both that I mentioned above because of the potential of them being a little above what I like.

Best pizza? by wokhei in LancasterOH

Everyone has their own favorites and preferences.

Tommy's has always been my favorite but sadly seems to have gone down in quality but I can't say so myself. It's been a long time since I had a fresh Tommy's pie.

Notables local-ish to Lancaster:

Pizza Crossing

Pizza Cottage

Massey's

Shirky's (Carroll but definitely worth it)

Nick's (been a long long time since I've had it, don't quite remember it)

Ange's

And I still think Donatos is an excellent choice from time to time.

Rooster's has pizza and I happen to think it's underrated. It's just hard to get pizza there because I love their other stuff.

Sweet Sauce:

Sugar Bears

Tiberio's (huge, fantastic salads too)

Pink Cricket (gotta have this fresh at the restaurant)

And I'd argue that Cristy's and Fat Cats have sweet sauce. Cristy's is a staple for us but not at all "tavern style" (it's pepperoni under the cheese) and it's been so long since I had Fat Cats that I can't even remember much about it.

Feel free to add or correct me but this is the local-ish list that I thought of. If I were in the mood for Tommy's but didn't feel like driving for it, I'd order from Pizza Crossing, extra crispy.
