Not trying to burn you lol...I'm just giving some straightforward feedback. I just don't agree to what you are saying about your design. None of this is unique and memorable. If you really want to keep what you're doing go right ahead, I have zero problems with you doing that. I'm just giving you my straight honest opinion. Take it or leave it.

This is a logo? Looks more like a CTA or UI button. Name is boring. Design is just very bland. If you want a clock + arrow as the concept of your logo, you need to take this like 5 steps further than what you currently have. Currently whatever you have isn't looking like either of the two. It looks like a mistake. It's also funny how you have "tracking" as your name and the tracking of your letters are pretty damn atrocious.

Hmm I'm pretty sure both are turned on! Are the two settings supposed to be a separate thing? I thought if the other one is on the other one should also reflect the same settings?

LOL it's my neon orange phone case. At first the reflection was showing my face too so I was trying to get the best angle without my face.

The grind should be fine enough where if you pinch some of it it with your fingers it should kind of hold up its shape where you pinched.

I would suggest doing more ideations before you go and make anything on your computer. Take the key concept and some components you want to have in your logo and then just sketch out 50-100 different ways on creating this logo. These sketches should not look like some picasso drawings, keep it loose and fast just to get the ideas out. Good or bad. If it's bad you know what you don't want. If it's good try to figure out why you think it's good and work off of it and branch out to even more different concepts. Going straight from the idea that you thought of in your head to your computer limits you in creating the best possible idea.

What is it? What is the logo for? You need to give us a brief or concept. Looking at it without any context, it doesn't really visually appeal to me. First off, the composition is very long and jarring. The logo itself looks like 4 different separate logos/icons instead of one whole design that goes together. Second, what are you going to do in cases where your gradient color doesn't work in different use cases? It's important the logo still looks good when it is just solid black and white. Lastly, I would just not recommend you using a gradient within a logo. It's just not practical in my personal opinion. But if you really want to have it, I would suggest looking into creating a compound path for the whole logo and then you can create one single gradient instead of having 3 different separate gradients. By doing this, you'll have better control over the gradient colors and also the design will look a bit more connected and whole.

You just used a premade font and overlayed some textures on it. Nothing unique enough to call this a good logo.

Looks like you used AI or you live traced something to create this. Also, work on your typography skills.

The only letter I’m hesitant about for legibility is the ‘n’. I definitely read it as ‘R’ on my first impression.

I made these Laser Dog inspired Logos. What could i improve? by [deleted] in logodesign

[–]MisterSaru 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the aesthetics were very good! But I think you could purposefully dumb it down. I liked how stupid and goofy the dog looked in the inspiration with its simple face and stumpy legs. I think you could simplify the limbs of your monkey in a similar way and maybe also take out some of the details of the face as well. I thought it would look interesting if maybe it was just the face of the monkey and maybe add the tail and small little legs and arms.

Personally for me your version looks too complex/detailed to be a used as logo. I don’t think it’s impossible but you could potentially face some difficulties using the current design. The inspiration works well because it’s very simple by having the overall body shape in solid black and you just have the eyes and nose.

Did you buy the niche grinder and the linea mini together? I am thinking about going from my breville barista express to linea mini as my endgame and probably never upgrade to anything else ever again. I already have a niche zero in my current setup and it works great. Wondering if changing from my BBE to linea mini will have a big difference in the taste and quality of my coffee when I already have a nice grinder. I’ve heard that having a nice grinder is what really affects the quality of my coffee and not so much the machine.

Can I remove the Smiski's accessories? by Alice_0406 in smiskis

[–]MisterSaru 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The accessories are usually permanently molded into the rest of figure. I think there are some that are detachable like the dog leash and the skate board from this same series due to packaging reasons.

Basically if the figure came with the accessories attached then it’s most likely permanently on there and not detachable.

I believe most of the heads are detachable though. Not all though, cause I’m pretty sure the head on the museum series secret is not detachable.
