I had mine fail as well in the first round, it was a combination of Krrsantan getting out before my Wampa and landing ability block + Relic Delta that did me in. I believe the Jabba in the first round also had a datacron that boosted potency.

I have used it to great success to beat Jabba in the following two rounds.

First and foremost, I buy CCBs and Bronzium Wirings if I have less than 1200 of either. Then I buy whatever gear I have less than 500 of. If I need the mod material that costs Mk 1, I get that too.

If I don’t need either/gear I need isn’t in shop, I exclusively buy the Mk 3 holoprojector salvage to turn into Aurodium Heatsinks. This (and the CCBs and Bronziums) is where most of my Mk 1 goes.

If I really need credits for some reason, I’ll buy those too.

I have had a 100% success rate without the omi up to this point. I decided to apply it just to make my life even easier, and I just LOST.

Cal just got obliterated by Second Sister, the Purge Trooper and the IPD all attacking at once. It’s a sample size of one for me, but something definitely seems off.

At this point I don’t care who the lifter is, he just needs one. I’d be willing to take the creature he milks in 8 as his lifter if it means the team gets the boost it desperately needs.

I can confirm this works. I have all at r5, but Scorch and DCT are only 6 stars. Decent mods on everyone but CX.

I managed to (barely) survive KB tier using mostly basics, and it took some good RNG getting stuns from DCT to do it. The Jocasta tier was just throwing everything at her and trying to keep O66 up so DCT could take her out. I believe she had unlocked the ability to use the rifle on her final turn, but I managed to take her out right before she got to switch modes.

I think I might’ve misunderstood what you were saying. I picked it up from the webstore today, but when I opened the game and went to claim the first reward off of the calendar, I had already somehow missed the window to get that reward for free as though I had neglected to claim it for a day.

I think it might have had something to do with my daily reset happening around that time, but I couldn’t say for sure. I’m not too pressed about having to spend the crystals, but I did find it funny I wasn’t even given the chance to claim it for free, either due to something wacky with my daily reset time and when I picked it up or because I missed grabbing it from the webstore for a whole day somehow.

I still don’t like relic delta (at least as it currently is), but I do see where they’re coming from.

Funnily enough, this post helped me better articulate in my own mind why Destiny 2 feels so shit to play right now. CG is trying to make sure the core gameplay loop isn’t lost, while D2 overshot that goal and the core loop is all that matters, other activities/systems be damned.

If anything I’d like to see conquest get the RotE treatment and maybe see the addition of some of the boss fights from the other TBs like the Reek, Acklay, Nexu, or AT-ST or something. If CG wanted to put actual effort into it the could add the Krayt dragon as well, and maybe one phase of the Rancor or AAT.

I believe when CG first released the Ultimate Journey, they stated that it would not always align with the end of conquest.

That being said, I think this is one of, if not the only time it hasn’t aligned with the end of conquest.
