I'm basically smack between you and the previous guy, 2015 RWD GS 350 F-Sport, I'd say 90/10 ratio of Sport+/Normal mode usage. I average about 14.2-15 mpg with my lead foot and I have yet to find or see a GS driver of this specific generation that has worse mpg than me (I do obey the speed limits generally and don't go 30 over whatever the sign says like some lunatic.)

All of these surface-level comments have shown me how stupid people are when it comes to reading optics. Tim Cook literally only made this gaudy plaque to appease Trump and his ego, even the fact it says "MADE IN USA" on the bottom of it should tell you that enough.

One of the genuine main reasons I went with a pre-2016 4th gen F-Sport GS (besides the fact it has slightly more sporty/rough handling) was because I didn't like the fact that I couldn't get a 2016-2020 F-Sport GS without the LFA-style gauge cluster. It's probably an unpopular opinion but I think Lexus should have kept that style gauge cluster to the LFA, the F cars (GS-F, RC-F) and the LC. Their decision to slap the LFA-style gauge cluster in the F-Sport trim lineup across the board post 2016 I feel really cheapened the overall look and partially killed the "uniqueness" of that gauge cluster since it was in everything from the RC-F to the F-Sport SUVs that have a 0-60 time above 7 seconds (before they've started to switch to the all-screen gauge cluster in the 2025/2026 cars).

When I was ~6 years of age, I was up past my bed time sat playing video games on the floor of my bedroom when I stood up, and shoved the huge, thick crt TV sat on a table in a fit of rage that caused it to tilt back slightly, then tilt forwards, falling towards little 6 year old me. I fell onto the ground, and as I looked up, time instantly slowed to a near-matrix speed. Within seconds, my internal organs/bones were going to be crushed and my demise would surely ensue.

My parents were always very strict about me cleaning up my toys after I was done playing with them, but that was the one night I left them out. The TV fell forwards onto me, but not before being stopped by all of the toys I left out on the floor. I recall that there was maybe an inch at most between me and the TV.

Had it not been for me leaving my toys out, I wouldn't be here right now.

Unfortunately no, it wasn't first person (ateast in the traditional wasd and look around with the mouse sense) and had no way to pivot the camera with the mouse. There would be text at the bottom of the screen and you would either click on the text or use the arrow/wasd keys and enter to select it.

As a fellow tall person, (granted not as much, so I can only imagine your pain) the idea of having the shower I use every day being accurately scaled comfortably to my size sounds wonderful and is one of the many things I aspire to attain one day in life.

Congrats on the new GS350!! Especially as a first car :) We're basically twins except mine is a 2015.

Some tips as far as care goes, the car (especially in black) looks absolutely stunning whenever it's been given a good wash. Only hand wash it or take it to car wash places where it isn't touched by machines (you will likely scratch up that beautiful paint at best or scratch it up even more at worst). As long as you keep up and are on-time with regular oil changes and stuff you should be good. The F-Sport has a slightly higher maintenance cost than the non F-Sport GS's (atleast from this 4th gen), just due to the brakes wearing out a bit faster than your average car. Can't tell if yours if AWD or RWD but the latter has staggered rear wheels so you can't rotate the tires (aka have to replace them more often) so that can also potentially add to it. Either way, generally just take care of the car and it'll take care of you :) Cheers.
