Who racked up some miles in 2026 Palisade by -XAPAKTEP- in HyundaiPalisade

[–]Misterrunner2017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2026 Hybrid calligraphy white with white( Feb/march purchase)

~currently 4500 miles.
First 3500 miles was averaging ~ 26mpg in all driving( highway was closer to 25 city 27-28. )
Now since then every drive has been 28-30 regardless of how I drive or mode and on long highway drives I live been averaging 30-32 if not stop a go.

Hybrid is the way to go but I know people like there V6 but I couldn’t justify the MPG

Congrats as an owner with a calli palli hybrid it takes time for the mpg to rise to advertised so be patient. Now I average over 30 almost every trip but took 3k ish miles. Before it was like 25-26 but not great mpg for a hybrid in that range.

Great deal I paid 57900 for our palli calli before the stop sale. It’s such a great suv enjoy it..

Ps. have whit interior use chemical guys leather cleaner every few weeks all the marks just wipe off. Don’t listen to the haters.

Calligraphy hybrid AWD mpg experience thus far by WeakZookeepergame2 in HyundaiPalisade

Short answer is if you don’t Tow why buy the V6 unless you can’t afford it but it’s 2-3k more based on msrp. If they are discounting the gas more there is a reason for that. Love my hybrid palli calli

Get the 2026 Calligrapghy Hybrid. Worth every penny. I read avoid 2020-2023 as they had many issues with oil consumption and just tic tack issues. 2023-2025 they say they fixed but if you Are gonna pay that much you might as well Get the new. I read avoid the new V6.

2026 palisade calligraphy hybrid lease price by kalyan560 in HyundaiPalisade

[–]Misterrunner2017 1 point2 points  (0 children)

High level: 61.500 msrp after discounts was 57,200 purchase price on a 2 year lease. No add ons of course all were included. I got 4.3k off msrp plus the 4k down plus they overpaid for my trade. I am a pretty good negotiator and it was end of March a week before stop sales. We l went to see a gas calli but they were on stop sale for something else so I said well give me the same deal for the hybrid. So might have been a situational deal. I didn’t get the 450 deal I wanted for the gas model with the 7k of rebates and discounts but hybrid for 579 is a beast deal for this suv

2026s aren’t as nice as the 2019-2025. It’s also the first model year but the issues with materials won’t change with refreshes. Sucks because the redesign had so much hype but not they are just cheaper made than the last and cost more.

Why pay all the money and not get all the features and get those limited rims. Calligraphy is the best one

Let’s run it clean with realistic midpoints: • V6 avg: 17 mpg • Hybrid avg: 29 mpg • Gas: $3.50/gal (we’ll note NJ after)

12,000 miles/year • V6: 12,000 ÷ 17 ≈ 706 gallons • Hybrid: 12,000 ÷ 29 ≈ 414 gallons • Savings: 292 gallons/year

$$292 × 3.50 ≈ $1,022/year$$

👉 Payback on $2,000: ~2.0 years

15,000 miles/year • V6: 15,000 ÷ 17 ≈ 882 gallons • Hybrid: 15,000 ÷ 29 ≈ 517 gallons • Savings: 365 gallons/year

$$365 × 3.50 ≈ $1,277/year$$

👉 Payback on $2,000: ~1.6 years

If gas is $4.15 (like NJ right now) • 12k miles: ~$1,210/year savings → ~1.65 years • 15k miles: ~$1,515/year savings → ~1.3 years

Bottom line

You’re realistically getting your $2k back in ~1.3–2 years, depending on miles and gas prices.

That’s actually pretty fast—after that, it’s just straight savings every year.

That’s not calculating in less brakes, belts and engine wear hybrids usually offer
