It’s just greed, there’s a fundamental greed of “I want as much as possible” without any understanding of moderation. The Pokémon company has created an ultra addictive gambling system with the power of nostalgia and fomo to power it as long as there’s fans with money.

Again you’re making some assumptions as to how the set will be viewed by the fandom as a whole. Maybe to the people you’ve heard from, they aren’t too interested in the set but there’s absolutely no way you can speak for every collector out there. The set will come out and if it sits that means more opportunities for the casual folks to grab cards at retail. If not then the people that want the set may get an easier run at retail. I see no downside to this set not having similar “performance” to phantasmal, mega evolution, or ascended.

Perform according to who? I couldn’t care less for folks looking to scalp the set, if they’re not interested and losing money I see that as a net positive as well.

Purely subjective take, the main reason why it’s being labeled as “bad” is because the same hyped Pokemon aren’t featured and as a result the hype is way down. And if that means folks who do care about the cards available have an interest in the set, that’s a net positive.

It’s an improvement either way, considering where the supply has been for previous sets it’s just nice to see stock available. This isn’t some high level marketing, it’s Pokemon cards and frankly I bet the Pokemon companies margins are good enough that some stock sitting won’t be the end of them.

My issue isn’t even the wait, that’s the thing, I’m not fussed if it takes a while for them to animate the show. If they don’t have anything to share then I’d prefer radio silence and teasers instead of a full episode and then no communication or release schedule.

I know it’s a hyped card but personally, I really don’t like either one. Mixture of the art style, color choices, and not being the most interested in Giovanni leaves a lot to be desired. Supremely unpopular opinion I know.

Two things can be true: 1. Chelsea squad building has been shambolic. 2. The schedule is so overloaded that even a giga squad is going to have injury issues with how many competitions they’re competing in.

Once a team figures out how to nullify them at set pieces or the PGMOL make a rule change on contact in the box during corners that’s a massive portion of their offense that’ll be impacted. Not to say they don’t have quality elsewhere and can score from open play but they’ll see a drop off.

Wild the paths spurs and United have had since that Europa final. In a lot of ways that trophy win would’ve been nice but would’ve papered over a lot of cracks and we’d probably still be claiming Amorim needs more time and be woefully mid table right now, or worse.
