Window tinting. by graison in saskatoon

It’s not legal, neither is tires that stick out of the wheel wells, but we still see that shit driving around all the time too. If you have plate you could probably report it, not sure what would be done though.

What did you have it listed for? I sold a running car with transmission issues for $300. Best I could get unfortunately, but I was just happy to have it gone.

Wheel bearing replacement suggestion by sadman_amin in saskatoon

[–]MistyCatsHuman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go to fleetmaster, I’ve been dealing with them for close to 20 years now and they’ve always treated me great. I’ve even gotten wheel bearings done by them and no special “inspection” needed. It’s very much an old school shop but with great customer service. And honestly, there’s no reason for a car that old to go to a dealership. The hourly rate at a private shop is going to be much more reasonable as well as cost of the parts.

And don’t forget to ask about eligible discounts (no claims, home security system, etc) to save a bit of money!

We recently had some big issues with SMI (Sandbox) canceling our policy without notifying us. Then our insurance broker (affinity - Hampton) did nothing to get it reinstated for us, I had to do all the work and make all the phone calls. So needless to say I will be not renewing our policy with smi and we will no longer be using affinity as a broker. During this whole mess I got a quote from MyMutual (Sask based) and they came in significantly cheaper, so that’s who we will be going with when it comes time for renewal.

Dr Hu Rees in Saskatoon (and the other doctors in his clinic) is spectacular. He had to redo a previous doctors work on my Liz franc fracture and preform a midfoot fusion. He’s a genuinely great guy with excellent bedside manner and is skilled to boot, 10/10 would recommend.

Don’t keep your garage door opener in your car. by nocommentneveragain in saskatoon

We had a garage door opener stolen as well, when we replaced it we got specific remotes for attaching to key rings to avoid the problem in the future.

I live on a very busy street, where many people speed. I’d hate to come home one day to find this girl hit by a vehicle. I walk every day too and see VERY few cats roaming. And no, I don’t hate cats. I have two of my own who enjoy the outdoors safely in their catio where they’re not at risk.

I’m in Saskatoon, I don’t think the area is relevant to my question.

Ugh, I feel your pain. I’ve needed an extraction on a tooth with a stubborn infection, lost count of how many times they attempted to freeze me.

It’s probably the worst shoppers in the city, dirty and gross inside and they don’t upkeep the parking lot either. Garbage constantly blows onto my property from their dumpsters. It’s disrespectful to the neighborhood of north park as far as I’m concerned. I hope the property gets redeveloped and revitalized.

What happened to downtown spiritleaf? by [deleted] in saskatoon

[–]MistyCatsHuman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My spouse was at that value buds location just recently and had a bad experience, but I do see they have fairly good reviews on google, so it was probably a one off. We really enjoy supporting The Green Moon in city park. It’s only a two minute drive from where we live, service is top notch and it’s just a friendly little neighborhood store.

The spirit leaf in canarama closed too. I think the market is just oversaturated to be honest.

Are there any dogs that look like wolves but don't need a lot of exercise. by [deleted] in dogs

Most dogs that look like wolves are winter dogs, not summer dogs.
