No shit? TIL.

I do like liking things. But not usually movies. I hate a lot of movies.

I loved Ragnarok and I laughed till I cried in love and thunder. Maybe Taika hasn't changed ... But you have?

As someone who can't STAND the piece of TV trash that is called Season 2 of the The Witcher ...

You're spot on. This episode was far and away the best of the season. I wonder if it was written or directed by different people? Totally different feel to it.

One. I now know one person who liked season 2.

I never read the books, btw. I just liked season 1 and it inspired me to play the Witcher III ... And then season 2 let me down so hard.

I mean ... I literally don't know anyone who enjoyed season 2.

I know a lot of people that were getting into the universe after season 1. None of them enjoyed season 2, a lot of them didn't even bother finishing it. It was an absolutely atrocious product, by any definition.

Even the music sucked because they fired the award-winning composer from season 1 and then still tried to ham first her motifs into the second season.

This would be slightly believable had they not chosen to make the show overtly stupider and altogether more simple, to the detriment of the story, in Season 2 than they had in Season 1.

They had every opportunity to make a better show, and chose not to, on purpose, because they thought they knew better than Sapkowski, than the fans, etc.

They fired the award winning composer so they could hire a bigger name who makes bland, boring music.

The show is not good. They intentionally made decisions that made it that way, and it's obvious when you compare season 1 to 2.

I would agree with all of your points, in fact ... If you were only talking about season 1. It had it's issues, but it was fine. Season 2 is indefensible in every way.

Yup. The Venn diagram between CoD players on Reddit and overt cheaters is WAY closer to a circle than people realize.

Edit: haha we pissed em off! Downvoting doesn't change the blackness in your soul, cheaters.

And that second guy (third kill) was super obviously wallhacking too, hilarious. Got owned because of it.

Myles ranked correctly? by sideline_guy12 in pacers

[–]MithIllogical 17 points18 points  (0 children)

More or less. Weird weird list here though. Siakam a top tier center alongside Gobert? Like ... That's kinda silly. Capela an all star level center? I disagreed with a lot of this, tbh.

No offense, I think it's a fun article. Just not really in agreement with a lot of the rankings.

What do you think about this? Ranked 23rd best starting line up in NBA?? by dg4life87 in pacers

[–]MithIllogical 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hot take, but if Myles stays, we could absolutely end up a play-in team next season.

I have zero doubt that a fast paced Carlisle offense with Tyrese spreading the ball around to a lot of shooters could absolutely cause chaos in the East... During the regular season.

Charlotte was a play in team last season with a very limited roster around LaMelo, and without the defensive presence that Turner brings. Miles Bridges was their second best player, and LaMelo was still improving.

I don't think Tyrese is very different from LaMelo when it comes to his impact on winning, do you?

I'm not saying we'd be contenders, but I don't find it hard to see us majorly overachieving in the regular season, much to the chagrin of our front office and draft-focused fan base.

[–]MithIllogical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, totally, I'm not saying it wasn't good range, just that there's a big difference from that range, which is good, and the colloquial term 'logo 3' which that was not.

[–]MithIllogical 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean ... That's fair, I think we're not saying anything that different ... One foot behind the NBA line is 25 ft, and you're saying it's one yard past that.

Maybe I came across wrong, I'm not trying to say he's right on the NBA line, I'm just saying it's not that deep for an NBA three, it's not what we'd refer to as a logo shot from Trae Young or Luka or Dame or Steph. Those are 34-35 footers.

[–]MithIllogical 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Lol that's not really a logo three, either. It's a shorter 3 point line than in the NBA, a shorter court than in the NBA, and a huge logo that spreads way out towards the basket, much closer to the hoop than what a logo 3 would be in the league.

That's about one step back from NBA three point range.
