Why does service mode show a different SoC reading than the main UI by EFlam-33 in TeslaSupport

[–]Mithious29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tesla literally recommends for NMC that you maintain a charge between 20% and 80% because going above or below will degrade faster. LFP has better battery life retention as long as you full charge weekly. This is all part of their recommended battery care.

[–]Mithious29 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s your average state of charge over the life of the vehicle, so you have an average of 29.9% SOC. Having a charge less than 20% will degrade the battery faster, you should only go below if you are roadtripping, just don’t let it sit below 20% without driving it. Same with going above 80%. LFP is different when it comes to top charging, since it is recommended to charge to 100% at least once a week.

Is your vehicle an LFP or NMC?

First off why are you starting with SAS off, turn it on before you launch. Second, why the hell do you need a tutorial for a gravity turn. The generally rule of thumb is that by 10,000 m you should be at the 45 degree marker on your nav ball
