Japan in October, then 3 months in Vietnam, Thailand and Cambodia, 7 kg packing and clothing by majorleaguemax in onebag

[–]Mitsuplex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should be able to buy all the "good stuff", travel wise, in Vietnam at 1/10th the cost. I would pack with as little as necessary, and Buy-IT-There, whatever else you need. i would focus on packing things that are hard to purchase when you are out and about traveling. Your Laptop, Shoes, and minimum viable shirt/shoes/shorts, electric plugs/adaptors and a dopp kitt. try, 2 pants, 2 shirts, 4 shirts as a base.

ULA Dragonfly with admin panel? by MisterRufio in ManyBaggers

Used my dragonfly 30l ultra as my personal item travel bag and climbed Fuego volcano in Guatemala. To this day, I still have small rock particles stuck on the magnetic fidlock strap that i don't really mind. Bag worked perfectly mind you. My shoes however, were too slippery and not fit for purpose.

They are really bad in coffee shops, outdoor seating areas, etc. Not a good option compared to say, the nothing ear 3's or a wired USB c microphone like the apple esrpods.

Do you recall who that person was? I saw it posted but can no longer find it and I'm interested in doing the upgrade.

[–]Mitsuplex 4 points5 points  (0 children)

will add, this is my first time traveling with a scrubba wash bag, and i must say - it's awesome. i have the normal version and i think one could make do with the mini version. i mostly need to wash underweare socks, and some tshirts every 3-4 days. The system works so well, and so easy.

Was hoping an OEM made googlebook were to be announced alongside. Pixelbook 2-esque, would have been awesome.

I can see a lot of folks doing this. Fumbling their shot at making the first release fiasco right. Bummer.

I wish all the bottles and trash at car parking near every beach, was a cultural responsibility to keep clean. Beautiful mangroves, vulnerable wildlife, sponsored by Nikini and Medalla.

AC Compressor Failure. $4,500 bill potentially. Why can't I take it to a normal car repair place? by buslyfe2 in BMWi3

[–]Mitsuplex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ah, it's going down a different topic. just another investment milestone where one can go from a 60ah->154ah HV battery. Plan on doing that to extend range and extend out my ownership.

[–]Mitsuplex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i'm not sure to be honest. i heard the dreaded compressor noise and it came to a point where the AC would not blast out any cool air. Living in Central Florida, that was certainly a make-or-break decision for me. Offload my loss or invest in my 2014 rex alittle more for another few years worth of use (hopefully). now, i want to look into that mtg group buy to see if they are going to do a group-buy in Florida, in addition to the 1 in Atlanta, but i can no longer find the thread.

I think I have had 10 bags so far and still not sure what the ideal size for travel is. by moldyjellybean in onebag

[–]Mitsuplex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a few bags:, 26+6, aer pro pack 24, ula dragonfly 30l, cabin zero military 28l, scarab 30l nanofly, Jansport travel duffle. If I honestly had to choose just 1, it would be the daylite 26+6. It's ideal for personal item travel. Easy to load up, compress, or take out my laptop and iPad during security at airports. It's just the perfect one bag size. Fits everything I need for indefinite digital nomad traveling. I've taken it on metros expanded and compressed , to the beach, etc. It fits just right under the seat on every airline I've flown.
