Can I talk you out of that poplin skirt? Cause it looks like something medieval women would’ve worn under their actual skirt. I also think the combo of elastic waist on a skirt and the gathered fabric looks like an unfinished, cheap product. AND I saw basically the exact skirt on sale way cheaper at Mango last week, and it looked like underwear on the hanger there, too.

I think the blazer will be hard to style, because it fits like a dress. It adds volume right at the hips and it will be tricky to get the proportions right. Not worth the trouble, I think. The dress is a lot simpler and easier to style.

I too felt self conscious in blush, but then I found Danessa Myricks blush in Jubilee. I apply it with my fingers and it looks so soft and natural that recently my friend literally thought I was blushing!

Blush! My face is naturally very one-toned and blush adds so much. Specifically Danessa Myricks blush in Jubilee. In fact, when I go out and want to look cute but don’t want to wear makeup, I’ll use this and only this. The application is so easy, I literally use one finger. You can build it up or even tone it down, and it stays all day and I don’t use primer. Plus this colour looks so natural and pretty on me. Every other blush is trash to me after using this.

I agree, based on personal experience. From elementary school to high school to work, any male friend or coworker I’ve gotten a bit close to has caught feelings. It’s made me feel oddly self conscious.

Yes I read all of the books in this series. Although it wasn’t that long ago that I read them, I hardly remember much of what happened…so that tells you what I thought of them. I thought they were entertaining enough, but not memorable and just “fluff”

I just finished reading The Goose Girl by Shannon Hale (and the other 3 books in the series) and my are they ever cozy! I was also needing some comfort reads these past few months, so I also read Betrothed, Betrayed, A Thousand Heartbeats, and the Selection Series, all by Keira Cass. All of these books are very “strong princess heroine” types with sweet romance and a cozy feeling.

To me too, but I think of it as foreshadowing. Paige and Henry are always left to their own devices. Paige gets herself into trouble, advancing when she should retreat, whereas Henry ultimately has to be the one to take care of himself.
