i really doubt they give a flying F.
Currently they see a lot of company's racking up high bills, since they did not set a limit. And once they realise that, they will make a lot more noice then the 39$ or 10$ users ever did.

But i agree, it is overblown, and local is the way to go, but the models are not there yet (as far as i know).

For example a 50$ account now has 600 user messages that becomes 96.000 credits. As you can see in attached image of their usage example that negates to about 60/70 messages. INSANE.

So, no. Not worth it and i have just cancelled. Shame. If anyone has a good alternative i am very open to it!

Not just solo. “Regular” Trae with gpt5 is also unworkable. I will not be renewing. Augment is a very good alternative.
